TGIF!! This has been a long work week....we are so busy this time of year but that is ok. My youngest has softball tournament this weekend but looks like we will finally have some nice weather. Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the weekend!

Happy Friday!
It’s going to be cloudy here today with a chance of showers this afternoon. I’m just having my coffee and I’m working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. My oldest has off today so we’re going to do some shopping together. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. We’re going to grill burgers for dinner later tonight. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great weekend ahead!!!

I am off today and heading to London with my dad to visit my cousin and her husband - my cousin shared my bedroom when she was a teenager - good times, her friends were hippies. She's like a big sister.
Haven't seen her since August so it will be good visit.
O'Malley will be on his own until Sunday night, but he's used to me travelling. I just set up an extra litter box and food and water stations so he doesn't need anything while I'm away.
I have to hop in the shower soon and pack.
My dad doesn't have Sirius radio in his car so I have a few CDs for our drive, including a Steve Martin one that should prove entertaining; slipping Tony Bennett Duets, Ella Fitzgerald and some John Lennon in there.
I am not bringing my laptop so I'll check in when I get back unless it's really late, 'cause my dad might want to stop by Casino Rama on the way back.

Wow. Weekend Eve seems to have cycled around so fast this time.
Where is the year going?
Well, just consider this:
Days to the Season: 180
Days to Christmas Day: 222
Then consider that the 200-Day Christmas Day Milestone will be here three weeks from tomorrow, and it really seems like time is speeding up!
Whew! Let's slow down a bit, relax and enjoy a tall one of ice tea (with a gallon jug of cough-ee for der Bingster, of course).
Steadily, the temperatures get warmer. Today, we are supposed to reach 88 for the high, then the low 90's for tomorrow and Sunday. The chance of rain is low.
Our day is beginning here in central North Carolina at 66 degrees under a brilliantly sunny sky.

Good morning and Happy Friday! Both dogs had groomer appointments this am and after, I think DH wants to run and get flowers for the house and possibly do lunch. He works this evening/night shift. Other than that, that's our plans for today/tonight. Since he'll be working and I'll be home with the kids, I'm going to see if they want to do a game night or karaoke here at home for something fun. The weather of course isn't supposed to be great again.

Good Saturday morning! For once I stayed in bed until 7am, a rarity. I’m in the middle of a 3-day weekend and it will be the only half-sunny day. It’s been rare to line-up a few sunny days as of late and the trend continues. Other than grocery shopping and chores, we’ll take in whatever sun there will be later on and then relax.
