Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Wow, it has really rained here, with more coming through Wednesday. I work in an office trailer outside the main office, and this morning it's sticky inside. All the surfaces are moist, including the paper, and the doors won't shut. I'll be glad when our new office is built and I can move out of this trailer.

Elizabeth's last recital was as beautiful as ever, and she dance as wonderfully as ever. She's been dancing with some of these girls since she was three years old, so they were pretty emotional during the ceremony for the graduating dancers after the recital...then again in the lobby...then again at the restaurant. Bless her heart. But, she's planning to take some continuing tap lessons for a while. She says she'll need it for her theater major, but I think she just can't stay away. That's ok.

We're leaving for NYC Thursday morning. I can't say I'm looking forward to the 16 hour drive, but Nancy won't fly. We're planning to overnight in Virginia both ways, so it won't be too bad.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Safe travels and if are going over the Delaware Memorial Bridge to the NJ turnpike then you will be my neighborhood!

Good afternoon .... Had a busy weekend but managed to get some stuff done. Picked up new solar lights for the garden beds. Really love how they look but didn't love the price of them.... These suckers better work for a few years at least LOL. My hubby and daughter got the pool set up while my son and I were at the store yesterday. Pool should be ready for swimming by the weekend which makes the kids very happy. It's nothing big or fancy, just one of the snap together types from walmart but it's big enough to get in and cool off. It's been raining all day and it's a bit chilly out there. Had to close some of the windows in the house this morning buts that's ok, I will take days like this over those typical scorching summer days :)

Good Morning, Christmas Citizens!

And as good informed citizens, we want to be kept abreast of the latest data in regards to the proximity of our holiday of choice and its wonderful Season.

As such, it is with pride and humility that we announce that another MILESTONE DAY has been reached!

Days to the Season: 158
Days to Christmas Day: 200

Today. This very day. We have arrived at the TWO-HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW, and the doorstep of a double-100's count.
Hallelujah!

Wet weather is the order of the day and for the next several, as plenty of rain is forecast. Hopefully, it will not interfere with our plans today and tomorrow morning as we complete work to get our cottage ready for the first set of renters who arrive tomorrow at noon. Fortunately, there is a lesser predicted chance of rain over at the coast but it still looks rather wet.
This morning has indeed commenced very wet here in the state capital, with a temperature reading of 71 degrees.

Tomorrow morning, our Edge will see us safely into double-100's territory and I shall return here Monday morning.

Have a Sensational Saturday and a Wildly Wondrous Weekend, Friends!
Looking forward to 8/5/19: the 100 days to the season mark, but not too hard. Savoring Summer is a much higher priority.:)

Good morning all! I’m bummed I missed Milestone Day yesterday, but I worked and it was one of those days in the ER that nurses just don’t like to talk about. It was a rough one for the whole entire clinical staff and for the family involved. My heart goes out for them. I work today, but this is the last day I work before vacation, then I’m off for 11 days. I’m looking forward to it!

Hope you all have a blessed Sunday!
Prayers for healing all involved....

I have been to Detroit a couple of times over the last couple of years. Downtown is really nice again. Our plan this time is to go back to the Ford museum. They have a big Star Trek exhibit we want to see.

Cleveland is also great downtown. I really like Cleveland a lot, there is a lot to do and see downtown especially.

I've only been to Detroit once in the past few years and I've never been to Cleveland although I've always wanted to see the Detroit Tigers play at their stadium.

At our nurses station at work (I’m a chaplain in a retirement community), we have a sign that says “it’s a good day for a good day.” Well, it’s a good week for a good week folks!! Let’s go have an awesome one!!! Only 5 days until Friday!!!:D:p

Love your merry-inducing posts!

Monday again! How quickly they come round. Yvie returned to school today that means we are on the last school term of the year - 6 week countdown underway before summer break.
Crazy busy work at week ahead, feels all title isn’t at the moment like truly working for the weekend.
Have a great day all

Have a merry day and week, happyelf!

Weather has been great here; last night it was 18c - the cold nights are gone for now.

Have another busy week ahead, but I like being busy makes the day fly by faster.

Stay Jolly! -lights-

It is going to be in the upper 40s tonight. I haven't taken my winter comforter off the bed yet. Love it as I like it cooler! :)

Good Morning, Friends!
Welcome to a new week. The first double-100's week of the 2019 countdown season.

So to kick us off, we start with the most recent figures:
Days to the Season: 156
Days to Christmas Day: 198

Yes, Folks. Thanks to Edge's careful stewardship, we successfully navigated into 100's territory yesterday in our Christmas Day count.
But any time a Milestone is reached and digested, we become hungry for the next marker and start to wonder what will be served.
So, let's check the menu:
It's marker number 10, Guys.
And -- get a tight grip now -- it's the HALF WAY POINT to Christmas Day.
How far away is it?
Try 16 days on for size. Two weeks from the day after tomorrow.
(Whew! This is too much too soon. Think I'll just move on to the weather without further comment!)

We got lucky at the coast on Saturday and had no rain as we completed cottage preperations. Sunday did see some, but it did not cause us problems.
We should be in for more rain today, followed by a dry day tomorrow, then more precipitation on Wednesday.
Right now, it is very soggy out but nothing is falling and we show a temperature reading of 73 degrees.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone.
And a great week ahead!

Thank you, Crown! Have a merry week!

Aw, that sounds like a lovely night was had for the graduates.
Have a fun and safe trip!!

Good morning, friends! Today is the last day of school - finally! The kids had so many snow/ice days, that it really pushed the day back. They have a half day, then we are meeting our best friends, with their daughter and going for lunch and bowling. We have our niece today as well.

We leave for the beach in the am and DH works tonight yet and since I worked all weekend, we're not packed yet either. Eeeeekkk! Since we're only going for a few days, it's not a big deal. I should be able to get it all done tonight. The kids will help me. DH is starting to work on it now too and soon as I'm done posting, I'll start working on it too.

Hope you all have a great day! I'll check back in here later!

Have a fun and safe trip!

Good morning all!

I bet you can't guess what is in the weather forecast today in Ohio... if you said rain you were right. More rain! Yep more of the same. If this was winter and all snow we would be buried by this point. Which I would be much happier about.

In any case, we made a mini-cation plans last night. A slight change from our original plan, but this will be great.
We are going to head to Cleveland on Thursday and visit the Natural History Museum and the Contemporary Art Museum. We will stay the night and visit the History Center and the Cleveland Art Museum and stay the night again. We might see a couple of other little things on Friday, but we are leaving it open. Then Saturday we are going to drive to Columbus (it is on the way home anyway) and go to COSCI (science center). We will then finish the drive home after that. The four museums were are seeing in Cleveland are all right together so it is really convenient. Plus, we have built up enough points with Marriott that our second night is free!

We are still going to go to Detroit to the Henry Ford Museum, but that will be a day trip next week.

I will take any opportunity to stay in Cleveland, I really like the city. It really has a lot to offer.

Well, everyone have a great day!

Have a fun and safe trip!
Rain as stopped here. More on the way late Wednesday into Thursday. There is water in the basement again . Stayed home to monitor the situation. It's good I can work at home just as easily as out!

Good morning ~
Happy Monday MMC!
