Happy 2nd Half of July MMC! The heat is coming. We've already had it be hot but even worse is on it's way for this weekend. We had some tropical rains last night and it's showering this morning as well. Hold on to your hot hats. To cool you off, dream of the Bers. Have a great 2nd Half of July Friday Eve!

It’s going to be another cloudy day with showers/storms passing through. I don’t have too much going on. I’m going to visit my parents for a little while and then I have to make a Target run. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. I’m going to make sausage & peppers and a salad for dinner. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!
We finally got some rain yesterday evening, and the temperature dropped from 97° to 77° in just a few minutes. It was still 100% humidity, but it sure was a nice break from the heat, if only for a little while.

Good Morning, Folks.
Once again, we are Past the Peak and headed down the other side straight for the weekend.
But let's not pass by so fast that we don't take note of the latest numbers.
Here they are:
Days to the Season: 118
Days to Christmas Day: 160
And the 100-Day Season Window?
Well, we are down to only 18 days away from that point.
Barely over 2 1/2 weeks off!
Then.
Oh, and then!
We will start numbering our shorter count by DOUBLE DIGITS!
Still the hot, humid rut here. No relief in sight at least until Tuesday of next week, according to the weather service. In fact, there are high heat warnings out for the next four days, with heat index values in the 105 range each day.
We are starting to get used to this as the new norm, unfortunately. (Whew!)
Our beginning temp here this AM is 76 degrees.
Well, lots of fun was had at the Shispering Pines last night, and the rumors were true. There was a reading of the "Best of Binger".
(Did you see the bows Carl took whenever his name came up? That camel!)

We had a couple of t-storms last night and heavy downpours. Looks like it will be cloudy for today too. Today is my Friday...yay excited for a long weekend even though it will be hot! We don't have too much planned, we may go to the beach on Saturday.
