Morning all
I hope we are all well.
Its been rainy and windy overnight here in South Wales so I have been checking the garden and local sites to see if there's much damage done to our little village :-/ got to love the autumn weather when it comes. I seriously do as I love laying in bed listening to the wind howling and the rain hitting the window.
Not much Christmas preparation has been going on here at the minute other than making lists and getting some ideas. My family has decided that we are going to just concentrate on our own little families and give gifts to them so it has seen my list cut from about 21 people - down to just 8! So that will save me some pennies in the long run. I now only have to buy for my dad and step mum, my mother, my 2 nan's, husband and two kids. Happy days.
I am busy making plans for when I have the kids back in school. My poor house has taken a hammering and I need to give it a good clean ready for the run up to christmas!
Today will mainly be time with my daughter, maybe some baking and crafting with her and walking the dogs.

HS Football scrimmage here in a couple of hours. The heat is creeping back in and it is forecast to be 90 for the next few days.
Later today we are moving some furniture to Goodwill for my father-in-law. Tomorrow is all about getting ready for school.
Yesterday we visited a Spirit Halloween store than just opened. They are not fully stocked yet, but it was still fun to see all of the stuff out. Fall is almost here!

Good Morning, Oasis Occupiers!
Yep. We are at yet another of our little two-day, end-of-the-week oases, ready for a little R&R.
But wait! There is business to attend to first, and it come in the form of the daily count:
Days to the Season: 88
Days to Christmas Day: 130
Also, it appears a Milestone marker is coming up fast of the far turn.
Why, I do believe it's the TWO-THIRDS point to Christmas Day 2019.
And through my binoculars, it appears to now be only EIGHT days down the track.
That's ONE WEEK from tomorrow, Guys!
Well, I thought we might get through yesterday without rain but such was not the case, and the skies opened up during the late afternoon. No severe weather where we are but there was a clap of thunder or two.
Today shows a 40 percent chance of rain, with a predicted high of 89.
Our weekend here is kicking off at 74 degrees.

I’ve been pretty productive so far, I tidied up the house, started laundry and made a big food shopping trip. I’m finally sitting down for a cup of coffee. I’m going to walk Rocky in a little bit. I’ll be spending the afternoon with two of my girls. I picked up bacon and cheese burgers at the butcher yesterday, we’re going to grill those for dinner tonight. I hope everyone has a nice day!!!

TGIF, Christmas friends!
University classes start on Monday for both of my kids...wow! We haven't quite finished gathering Elizabeth's furniture, so she'll probably have to commute for the first week or so.
The four of us went out for dinner last night, and it was great! Not just the awesome lasagna, but actually having a full family dinner. I think they both aspire to life in big cities, so I'm getting a little apprehensive about moving on to this next chapter of our lives. But, ready or not...
I'm also hoping my brother will help me put my lawn mower engine back together tomorrow. The neighbors are starting to look at me sideways again, like I'm devaluing their property by not mowing the lawn every week LOL!

Every summer you post this it gives me some much needed "chills" since it's been a long humid summer.
Time flies by so fast! We are almost to the last four months of the year so that means we are 4 months away from Christmas!

It's just the time of year - from Easter the weddings start building and building so I've been marrying people every weekend. I've also got involved in an amateur dramatic group again and we're mid run of Allo Allo (have you seen the TV programme?) Weddings and plays are now slowing down, soon to be an occasional thing so I can start to think of other things that make me happy!!!! Hope you're well and loving life xxxxx

Happy Dog Days of August MMC! We have a warmer and more humid today than yesterday. As I said these are the dog days of August. But soon enough we'll see some cooler shots starts to take over more and more of course as we go through the coming weeks and months. As xander said yesterday "The Bers Are Coming!" Good Sunday morning! It's going to be hot and humid again today. I miss the cooler mornings followed by sunny, warm and dry afternoons we've had these past couple of weeks. It's the last day of my vacation, all good things come to an end. I'll be participating with our company in the Pride parade in Montréal today. Then I'll be home to relax with David, before he too hopefully goes back to modified work tomorrow after seeing his doctor. Have a great day everyone!

It’s warm and humid here as well. A thunderstorm woke me up around 2:00am and I pretty much just tossed and turned after that. I’d love to sneak a nap in today. Thankfully there isn’t much going on. I already straightened up and started laundry. I also have a pot of sauce simmering, dinner will be spaghetti and meatballs. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
