They did decorate last year. And they remodeled the inside this summer.
Hopefully they'll decorate soon.

7) and 8) Crabtree's giant center court tree blazes forth!
(You can't really appreciate it unless you are there in person. It stands about 35 feet tall.)

That is a great tree. I may have to road trip to Raleigh just see this mall.

Construction on Santa's village at the mall is underway and progressing rapidly.
He is set to arrive one week from tomorrow!

Visited our other local mall, North Hills, yesterday and found plenty to photograph.

1) Festive sign at one of the entrances.

2) My thirst for decorated railings has been quenched.....for now.

3) North Hills' centerpiece tree. Bigger than Crabtree's but no decorations, just lights and the star topper.

And back at Crabtree Valley, Santa's village is now complete, as we await the big guy's arrival this Saturday!

Nope. I had already spent my money buying more outdoor decorations at Dollar General.

These photos are from a local garden center that really does a great job decorating for Christmas. It's a tradition to go there every year to see what they've done. (it's different every year)
