Gosh, with all the honey-do's you're getting done; I guess you're "in" for another 25.

Is your hair greyer than it used to be? Cut some off and add it to your anniversary card to represent something silver and then you don't have to buy a gift. It's the thought that counts.

That's a great idea, thanks!

In case you need it, I give lessons every Wednesday at my house called, "How to run your home." We start at 3:30 and get done by 5:00....that's when Doc gets home. LOL.

25 year...congrats, friend. Quite the achievement.
Sign me us for classes!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

Well, I got started on the water leak in my yard yesterday afternoon about 4:30, and I finally finished fixing it at 11pm. What a mess I had! I had a hole as large as our dining room table, the water was turned off to the house, and I was covered in mud and dirt and PVC glue, but it's done.

And I'm still scraping that dark blue PVC glue off of my hands, arms, face, etc. But we had water at the house when I was done. CONQUERED. DOMINATED.

For my next amazing feat, I'm going to give Lulu a bath.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good Morning MMC !

my second day home with the flu...annoying because I got the flu shot, I guess this strain was not included. I am starting to feel better so thankfully it was a short one (started on Sunday)
Work on gingerbread house is going very slow, hoping I can get it all done in time. It has to be taken to the competition site next Wednesday.
We do not have lights up outside yet because winter and very cold temps hit very early this year on November 13.

this was the view from my front door that morning

Today looks like it is going to warm a bit so we are going to try and get it up.

Hope you all have a fantastically magical day !!~

It’s a beautiful snow-covered scenery you have there. Hope you feel better fast Christmasstar.

Over the moon? In 35 hours and 46 minutes we take off! I can't believe it. We have been waiting on this moment for over a year. I just can't wait!!!!

We have movies on the iPads, I ran off several different pictures of Disney (like 40 or 50) for us to look at and talk about, and we are talking something for them to draw on. Doc and I had the same approach....like give them who they run to when they are scared. She laughed and said that she would enjoy that...seeing as how they both are Daddy's girls. Looks like she will fly alone. LOL.

I'm packed. Bags for the park are packed. Only thing not packed is Doc. She is off tomorrow. Just a few finishing touches...like chargers and toothbrush, etc. Have a meeting tomorrow night....should be over quick. When it is, no school until Dec. 1. I need a break...and I can't wait.

Sounds perfect! I think it sounds like you guys are all set. PM me or get a hold of me on Facebook if you need anything. Can’t wait to see pictures!

Well, this is usually my favorite weekend of the year. This is the weekend we have traditionally gone grocery shopping for Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping for the first time. Can't remember the last time we didn't. It has been at least 15 years. We did this all the way back when we were dating.

Doc had to go. She needed to get a few things and she said it was a mad house. Oh, how I would have loved to be out in it....but it is ok. We will certainly make it next year.

I honestly don't know when I will get be back. It very well could be on next Monday. We takeoff on Tuesday and land back in Memphis on Sunday night. I hope to be able to visit a few times while we are away, but I know how crazy it will be.

Yall have a good week. A few prayers for safety and good health would be appreciated.

Have a safe flight, my friend! I’ll be thinking of you guys!

Good Tuesday morning! Temperatures were on the rise overnight so we had some freezing rain. I took out my crampons to go walk Loki in a little bit, just in case it is still slippery out there. The plan today is to go buy chocolates for our homemade advent calendar, and a couple more gifts, on the condition that roads and parking lots are not frozen over. Have a great day everyone!

Went to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra last night it was amazing ..as a bonus my wife bought me tickets to go see Pentatonix in a couple weeks for my birthday getting spoiled this year .

Glad you enjoyed! Sounds wonderful!

Merry Monday!
We have a chilly start today but not too bad.
Work for me today and then I am off tomorrow for my daughter's knee surgery. If you could please keep her in your prayers, I would appreciate it.
I am jealous of all the decorating, we will start on Black Friday.
Hope you all have a great Monday!

Keeping her in my prayers today, as well as you! (((Hugs)))

A Merry Milestone Monday Morning, Folks!
The last -- the VERY last marker of 2019 -- is here.
Now, it's clear sailing on through the rest of the Season and the year!

Days to Thanksgiving: 10 (SINGLE DIGITS TOMORROW!)
Days to Christmas Day: 37 (FIVE weeks from the day after tomorrow!)

And that final Milestone?
It's the 90 percent marker to Christmas Day 2019.
The Home Stretch to Christmas has begun!!

It continues dry, sunny and chilly here in central NC but it's getting very gradually warmer each day.
As this week progresses, we will go from a predicted high of 49 for today up to 64 degrees for Friday before we cool off again. A 60 percent chance of rain shows for today, then dry conditions should prevail at least until Friday.
Our week-starting temperature reading is 45 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Marvelous Milestone Monday, Guys.
And a great week ahead!

Happy Belated Milestone Day, Crown and friends!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Saturday was a freezing, rainy day...and Nancy made me work outside all day. We're still getting ready for Thanksgiving at our house, and she's making me clean the whole place in just a couple days. She's a taskmaster!

The kids came home to clean their rooms up Saturday afternoon, and they both stayed the night. We were so happy to have the house full again!

We took some more furniture to Jacob's apartment yesterday afternoon, AND I found a water leak in my yard, so I have to dig that up today. Great.

Still, it's not raining today, and I'm going to the mountains next weekend.

And Wednesday is our 25th anniversary! I think I have her convinced to keep me by now.;)

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

What a milestone, Brad! Happy Anniversary to you and Nancy!

Good Single Digits Morning, my Friends!

Yes, we are but NINE days away now from Thanksgiving, the next holiday in the chain.

The counts:
Days to Thanksgiving: 9 (Yep. SINGLE DIGITS, alright!)
Days to Christmas Day: 36 (FIVE weeks from tomorrow!)

And our next Milestone?
Wait----there aren't any more! The last one passed by yesterday.
There is nothing more between us and the full, unmitigated enjoyment of the holiday season!

Chilly with a spot or two of rain yesterday, but really not too bad. A bit bracing for outdoor work but there was no problem getting it all done.
A gradual warming trend is predicted, and by Friday we should be into the mid 60's.
This second day of the week commences here in mid-state rather damp, at 47 degrees.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody!

Terrific Tuesday has arrived -surprise-

My dad and I were chatting on the phone last night to make plans for Friday and Saturday and he decided he didn't want to go. He doesn't like winter travel and the inconvenience of having to pack different types of coats this time of year.

It's too bad because I wanted to get away for two days, I thought maybe I should detour to Ottawa for #2 Grandson's birthday, but staying home will give me more time to finish up my Christmas cards and wrap up my Operation Christmas Cheer packages for two boys I've never met.

The guest bed and love seat are piled with gifts waiting to be wrapped, some for the youngest granddaughters and children of co-workers, my brother, my dad and a few close friends.

Stay Jolly -list-

Happy Birthday to your grandson!

Take care of that flu ... the shot probably spared you from having it for a week to 10 days.

Looking forward to seeing your gingerbread house when it's finished, if you don't mind posting a picture!

Happy Tuesday. Work today is doing analysis on the 2020 forecasts from the 8 locations and matching their expectations with the national and corporate forecasts.

After a couple of days in the 90s the temp will plummet to the low 70s with rain moving in this evening. They be saying 60 tomorrow with rain all day. Yep, it's actually looking and feeling like Fall in SoCal.

We're still trying to get rid of the colds we got at the beginning of November. Mr. is seeing a doctor today, and I'm going Thursday. I'm taking Thursday and Friday as pre-Thanksgiving vacation days, so two more workdays to go (counting today, which hasn't really gotten under way yet. Strike that, the first job just hit my desk!).
