I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We sure did. Parade, laying around, and a great meal. The only way yesterday could have been any better is if you aren't a cowboys fan.

Well, I am a cowboys fan....so that kinda tanked my day. Wait, not really tanked....maybe cast a shadow...it certainly didn't ruin it.

Doc got up to do a little Black Friday shopping while ol' Ballcoach has to stay home and watch little girls sleep...that sounds like a fair trade.

Today, we are going to watch Frozen II and eat for my birthday.

+m Happy Birthday +b

No Old Fashioned Downtown Christmas Walk for me.

The tree lighting is at 5:30 and my so-called vacation day became a work day less three hours. The street lights were still on when I headed out and I figured the lights would bother me.

I have a mix of a migraine and tension headache; when there's a double attack, I'm not good at faking joy. I didn't have plans to meet up with anyone so I doubt I'll be missed.

Last year, I went with my dad, the weather wasn't the greatest and we both realized we didn't have anything to buy and hardly saw anyone we knew so we wrapped it up in less than two hours. It wasn't as enjoyable as previous years when mom and I would get stopped every few doorways to talk to people we hadn't seen in a very long time.

Searching for something to watch on TV and forcing myself to eat supper.

I have cards to finish and a bit of grocery shopping planned for tomorrow.

O'Malley is chillin' on his bed.

Enjoy the rest of your night.

Hope you feel better soon, Auntie!

Today was our annual "Christmas Bomb"---wrapping and packaging our out-of-town Christmas packages. Was at it from before 11 a.m. until around 6 p.m. Mr. is still working, but I'm all played out. I'll probably sit down with a Christmas movie or concert until bedtime.

Looks like we may get a hazardous snow/sleet storm of up to 8 inches between Sunday afternoon and Monday night. My snow tires don't go on until Friday, and our snow plow guy informed us yesterday that not only is his arm injured, his plow is broken, and he won't be able to plow us out after this storm, so we're going to have to shovel. Worried about getting to and from work safely on Monday. I could work at home if I have to, but it's a big pain to do, and our printer, which is essential to my working at home, is acting up and not working part of the time. I'm going to lose sleep over this Sunday night!

Good evening. The main tree is up and lighted. Currently taking a break from hanging ornaments. The outside lights are on with the bad bulbs replaced. Tomorrow we'll probably go get the real tree for the foyer. Well . . . back to fun.

Be safe! I hope the weather isn’t too bad this weekend for you!

Hope you feel better soon, Auntie!

Thank you; I felt pretty rough. Part of it was because I had not eaten since 6:15 a.m. and knew I had to get something into me before I drove all the way home. I grabbed an Aero bar at 2:30 p.m. I have type II diabetes; I didn't have time to eat while I was working.

Not 100% this morning, but certainly functional; the ticking of the clocks aren't bugging me. I grabbed a nap shortly after dinner; just an hour to let the Advil/Tylenol combo and rest work some magic. I was able to enjoy the Polar Express and part of the Purina National Dog Show and intermittent pats with the O'cat.

Glad you had a productive wrapping day. I hope the storm isn't as bad as they're calling for we had a day like that last Wednesday and school buses were cancelled and the plows were out a few times in the same day. Lots of snow glare on side roads because they never get down to the pavement.

I was sure happy to have my snow tires for my rural adventure yesterday.

I hope things work out. Shoveling is worse than housework.

Happy Final Day of November MMC! A chilly morning here but that's how November should be at the end. I still can't believe how fast this month went. It seems like yesterday was Halloween and it's already a month ago. I'm glad we can enjoy the weekend now. I got a lot of Christmas shopping done on Black Friday and some stores actually got crowded. I noticed later in the day it was worse. I'm glad that I'm more of a morning person. Have a great Final Day of November!

A Good Thanksgiving Weekend Morning to you, Folks!

I regard the time period from Thanksgiving Day through the following Sunday as the extended Thanksgiving weekend.
After that, it's Christmas all the way for the rest of the year!

Days to Christmas Day: 25 (Just over 3 1/2 weeks to go!)

We had a somewhat chilly day after Thanksgiving yesterday, but it was dry. Today will be chillier and it will come with rain. In fact, it is already falling as I type this, and the temperature reading is 49 degrees.

I hope you have a really great final weekend of November along with a Sensational Saturday, Everybody!
