Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Monday, and we are in a new week now in the heart/middle of May. I think/ feel like we are over halfway through May later this afternoon. For one of the "long" months, I feel like it has been going by pretty fast.

The big news this morning on our counts is that we have obviously now entered into single-digit territory on our way down to the 100 Days To The Bers milestone. Everything will change after we break the 100 day seal on that one.

But for now, let's try and have a quiet week. Like Edge reminds us, this is probably the "last" stress free week across the threads. Let's enjoy the calm for this week. But I'm not going to lie, I'm starting to really get excited for next week even though I know it's still kind of far away. Peace and quiet can be a good thing at times!

I was in Hobby Lobby on Saturday, and guess what? They had a whole aisle of Fall stuff actually out and ready!

It made my heart happy to see it. I can't wait for them to put out more. Shouldn't be long now.

Quite a while back I mentioned that my inlaws were giving us a 5ft black slim tree. They brought it to the wedding and we took it home. Now we just have to find Halloween lights and ornaments. Where should we look?

Morning Halloween Fans! It's Tuesday so my thought for today on Halloween is when is it too early to really plan for the spooky season? I always look at it like August when we see stuff in the stores is good. Have a great day!

I found all of my Halloween ornaments between Jo Ann Fabrics and Michaels. Amazon can also be your friend on that kind of thing!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is finally over and Tuesday is always when I feel like the wheels aren't spinning in mud anymore. I think nobody likes Mondays.

You can see on our counts this morning that we are again on the doorstep to some important milestones! Tomorrow will mark only TWO WEEKS until our next Jack O Lantern Day, and also from tomorrow we will be just ONE WEEK away from reaching the 100 Days to The Bers milestone!

Across our multiple threads here at MMC, we talk about the importance of stress free time, and in fact we have been talking a lot last week and so far this week about this current week we are in, which just may be the "last" stress free week of the year. My Tuesday Halloween thought this week is how I think about "October time", and how it feels so relaxing, almost like it is within its own bubble and not affected by the time / stress of the approaching season, by that point. I think about those relaxing October weekends where the biggest decision is what channel you want to binge scary movies on. And comparing how time "flows" in October, vs how it is moving right now. The difference is like night and day.

Wow! Just searching for Halloween Tree Decorations brought back a ton of ideas. I'll have to sit down with Michelle and look these over and see what kind of theme we want.

My Tuesday Halloween thought today is: What Halloween movies or specials do we have to look forward to this year? Last year obviously Halloween Ends was the big, anticipated thriller to look forward to. Is there anything coming this year on that scale?

I guess I need to research some more. I haven't really looked into any Halloween films for 2023.

My Halloween thought? Do I have to just have one. Halloween is always in my thoughts or at least in the back of my mind. When @DecemberisComing talked about filling some of her Halloween hunt eggs a few weeks ago and then again when Rich mentioned his black tree, I had the worst homesickness for October!

The last few days I can’t stop thinking about planting my pumpkins. I know I made a vow to not plant until Memorial Day and then stagger additional plantings throughout June. Last year all the vines and leaves were brown and shriveled by September, but just thinking about them has me homesick for October too, just like @LadyLynn

Today marks only TWO WEEKS until Jack O Lantern Day #4, and of course the big number this morning is showing that we are only a week out from the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone! I'm hoping for tradition here and that our friend @The_Escalation will be here in a few more days to break out his memes counting us down. I always love seeing those. It's a big deal folks.

But we still have a week to go. It's Wednesday now so I'm looking forward to the no stress Wednesday but also how every week, in the mid afternoon, I always feel the magic that is the weekend approaching. It rolls in like clock work, and it is a welcome feeling.

Today feels like Autumn outside right now. It's 52 degrees, cloudy, and there is a light breeze. It almost feels like Halloween outside. And that makes me smile. Have a great day, friends!

I love how these numbers are all so low. And yet we still have all of the Summer to enjoy. Imagine what these will all look like when Summer ends and Fall arrives. Whoa! Can't wait.

Oh, I will be here if at all humanly possible, even if I have to jump in during the night shift. 100 days to the Bers is a huge deal -- quite possibly the biggest of the year aside from reaching the Bers themselves.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Thursday! There's energy in the air today! Almost the weekend!

We are UNDER two weeks to go now towards Jack O Lantern Day #4, and I continue to be fixated on that "Days To The Bers" count. It's a big one folks. And the excitement just doesn't stop there, we are going to see our "Days to Halloween" count break into the 150's NEXT WEEK. Wow. It's like somehow we hit a time warp somewhere in May even though all of us have been trying to enjoy the first few weeks of "no stress".

I am constantly reminded of October and The Bers. From that amazing orange sun yesterday morning, to the weather, It's like I'm getting one last set of Fall Days before the Sweat Fest rolls in at the end of the month. It's 42 degrees outside right now and won't get out of the 60's today. And those are the kind of days that scream early October. It's just beautiful all around.
