Halloween 2023 Countdown!

I really like the idea of calling this the Week of Change. Especially with Memorial Day a.k.a. "The Opening of the Road to the Bers" looming large this weekend. I don't know if we have ever had this many significant milestones in one week at any given point during the year. This week definitely seems like the turning point for everything to come.
It is a great week indeed and I think it deserves a special name/title!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Oh boy are we ever standing on the doorstep to a major milestone now. The week of change continues on. Tomorrow we hit the big 100 days to The Bers. Thursday we reach halfway to Thanksgiving on Tom Turkey Day, break into a 150's count on our way to Halloween, and Friday is Rudolph Day. Nothing will feel the same after Wednesday. I think every person that follows these threads have been looking forward to tomorrow for a while. I know I have been.
My Tuesday Halloween thought is a pretty simple one this week. I was thinking about how Spooky Spring sort of "started" this transformation that we are seeing right now. Spooky Spring took us all the way to halfway to Halloween, and what followed after that was May and the "Month of Change". A pretty fantastic process!

Continuing along the lines of this Halloween thought, let's take a look at the "retail calendar" and see how many retail seasons we have left until Halloween:

- July 4th
- Back to School
- Fall/Halloween
So we are only 2.5 retail "seasons" away from seeing Fall/Halloween items, and honestly, we have a realistic chance of seeing those immediately after July 4th. Just a stones throw away!
Only four more sleeps until I plant my first round of pumpkins!

I know Rudolph Day is tomorrow, but it's hard to be festive when all I have on my mind is "100 Days to the Bers," and since Halloween leads the charge in Bers holidays, I'm feeling more spooky than Christmassy right now.
But, all things in due time. Tom Turkey Day/Halfsgiving is tomorrow too, and I hope to celebrate that with a big plate of turkey and dressing at Cracker Barrel! Spooky time will commence with JOL Day next week.

This is a great day! Happy 100 Days to the Bers Milestone!!! Tomorrow we get the double dose of Rudolph Day and Tom Turkey Day, then we have Friday of a three day weekend! Saturday I plant my pumpkins!
