Pumpkin planting is less than 2 days away!
I always love Friday the 13ths. I remember lamenting back in January on this thread, I believe, that I felt like having Friday the 13th in October was sort of a "wasted" one, since it was already in peak spooky season and Jason movies were already playing on rotation.
I totally love Friday, the 13ths.
We miss you when you can't check in.Hello all!
I haven't been around this thread much recently, and not on the forums much at all really.
However, today was the last day of school!! So, that means I can refocus on the holidays.
I do hope you find some and share the pictures here! I haven't decided if I am going to try make any more Christmas trees to add to my Peanuts Christmas tree lot or not. My skills are no where near good enough to make cutouts of the characters but I do keep an eye out for them.I have been saying this for years now, but darn it, THIS is the year that I finally get those Peanuts yard standees! It's summer so it's time to start looking!
I agree, I think of Memorial Day as the start of summer which means Fall is so close! By the end of the June of will be ready for Christmas in July, and then once August hits, my mind goes directly towards Halloween. That is not far away at all. Here in the near future I will start thinking about different things we can do in the yard for Halloween decor. This is what starts our final approach being back to The Bers. We are a week away from seeing the 150 Days to Halloween marker.
I totally agree! I hate that Halloween just "happens" and there is no long weekend, no day off of school, nothing.I wish Halloween was a long weekend every year like Memorial Day Weekend is.
First of all, it's great to see you back, ITP. We missed you around here.During some conversations with some friends, a couple of movies came up: The Dead Don't Die, and Night of the Comet. I really like both movies, and I was surprised that my friend had not seen either of them. He normally has seen about anything I bring up, but oddly not these. Night of the Comet is such a low budget 80s movie, but still good in my opinion. the Dead Don't Die is a good, funny zombie movie with a great cast. Thoughts on either movie?
Thanks, it is nice to have the time to be able to read posts and enjoy the community here.First of all, it's great to see you back, ITP. We missed you around here.
Second, I'm sad to say that I haven't seen either movie, despite being a "child of the 80s." But now my interest is piqued. Which one do you recommend more for a first viewing?
Your own version of the HL watch!I do hope you find some and share the pictures here! I have watched Night of the Comet multiple times and try to do so each Halloween season. Never seen The Dead Don't Die so can't comment on that one.Good morning all!
