Thanksgiving 2023 Thread

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 157
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 135
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 74

Happy Juneteenth! Today folks we start off the week with the following counts: 157 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 135 days to go until November, and 74 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestones will happen this week back to back with the Arrival of Summer on Wednesday, followed the next day by Tom Turkey Day #7 on Thursday. Back to back milestones folks in a HUGE week which will bring us to Leon Day at the end of it. And that means Halfway to Christmas. And that means no more halfways to look to. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest on this Monday with the following Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week: 22 weeks. Double 2’s folks. I remember Double 3’s and even Double 4’s. I’m scared to think of Double 1’s tho because that will basically be The Bers. Now for all of you turkey fans out there enjoy your Monday. Some of you have off so enjoy that. I’m off these next 3 days so I hope to try to have some fun but also try to rest. Kind of a combination. And I hope you all enjoy your start to the week no matter what you are doing today. Gobble Gobble is the way to go. And I know all of you are trying the best you can to do that and thanks for being here. Have a great Juneteenth!​
 
I'm off today too! Way too early for me already to be thinking of this upcoming weekend, but like you said, it is indeed a big one with Halfway to Christmas. Also for many of us, watching Christmas in July on QVC is like a Holiday itself. And that starts on Sunday. I'll be watching, and maybe buying a thing or two! Have a great day!
 
I am so excited for Thanksgiving week. But I have a lot to do before then. 22 weeks might be enough time.

I think we can get it all done in 22 weeks, but we better get a move on!
This week/weekend I am focusing on the basement (unfinished and would be a great location for a scary movie), it needs to be swept and de-cobwebbed and then I need to get the deep freeze cleared out, organized, and ready for the Bers/Holidays!

I need to buy a new freezer. Mine is on its last leg, but I keep putting it off thinking there will be a good sale or prices will go down, but so far THAT is not happening. Several of the shelves have pulled out and there is no way to fix them (I have them held up with wire to the next shelf--a little redneck, but it works at least for now.).

I think you are very ingenious, but for one minute I thought you were going to say you used a huge turkey to prop up a shelf!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 134
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 73

Happy Farewell To Spring! Today folks we have 156 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 134 days to go until November, and 73 days left until The Bers. Our next milestones will happen the next 2 days folks. Tomorrow we will welcome in the Arrival of Summer. And the following day we will reach Tom Turkey Day #7. Back to back milestone days coming. The Summer Sweatfest continues here and we move ahead now well into June eh? Tomorrow we do see summer folks officially. And I know then days start getting shorter by like half a minute or a minute but just like around December 21 when days start getting longer by a minute you don’t notice it for at least a month or more. But it will still be a big day with summer coming. And it is Tuesday folks so we know it’s Picture Day. So share those pictures of all your favorite Thanksgiving type of stuff. It could be food or a parade or anything autumn-like. Whatever your heart contents here on this Tuesday. We love picture day here. Have a good day my turkey friends. And do your best to keep turkey thoughts in your head on the eve of summer officially when we’ll be roasting like turkey soon enough I am sure with heat and humidity. I'm glad to be on here with all of you! Tomorrow is a big day for sure! I've got some memes about being ready for Hoodie weather, etc., that I love sharing on this day. The summer Solstice is really the day that always makes me miss Fall really terribly, but also gets me ready for the remaining slog ahead, before we get to The Bers!
