DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 124
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 102
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 41

Happy July’s Journey! Today folks we have 124 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 102 days left until November, and 41 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Monday. We know it will be a big one as the 100-Day Marker Till November arrives on that day. But for now we move ahead in our Summer Sweatfest one sweaty step after the other. I know many of you feel the summer is going slowly and I feel that way myself. I look ahead to next week’s forecast and see humid and hot as the 2 main words for the week. But this weekend will actually be nice. They say moderate temperatures (for July) and moderate to comfy levels of humidity. I think we better soak in all the nice weather this weekend and only semi-sweat instead of fully sweating which will return shortly it seems. Turkey fans let’s continue our beautiful quiet 3-day weekend here in this thread ok? I think this has become such a fun thing for us every single weekend. Today is of course the middle day with Day 2 of 3. And I definitely want to enjoy it as much as I can. And I hope all of my turkey friends/family enjoy their Saturday to the most possible level that they can. It’s a summer full of enjoying this thread here in the Thanksgiving Thread. Have a great July’s Journey!

We had 64 degrees this morning, and today only got up to 83 degrees. It truly felt like a "Bers Day". Next week we have two very hot days coming up, one day is 94 and one day might hit 100. I knew for a while now that the last two weeks of July was the peak hottest time. But the magic thing that is going on is the big cool downs of an evening and early morning. 60s and even low 70's after a day that hits almost 100 feels very cool. And it will get better and better the farther we go, and especially once we hit August! The gradual cooling down is in full effect then here!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 123
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 101
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 40

Happy Judging July! Today folks we have 123 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 101 days left until November, and 40 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Monday. It will be the 100-Day Marker Till November. That will be tomorrow folks. Be here for it. After that we will see 2 of our 3 counts down to double digits. Yikes. Let’s keep that Thanksgiving count in triple digits for as long as we can safely. We move along in our quiet 3-day weekend period with the final part of it happening now today on Sunday like always. And we move along in our Summer Sweatfest with a nice weekend here but a lot of sweating in the week ahead by the looks of the forecast. It’s just one of those summers that will make us appreciate more than usual when autumn arrives down the road. For now turkey fans let’s just look at the road ahead of us on this Sunday with lots of enjoyment happening for all of us I hope. And lots of turkey dreams continuing here in the middle of the summer. I hope it will be a good one for all of you. And I hope you come here all week ahead when we will have our big 4 days of fun stuff followed by another quiet 3-day weekend period. Lots of fun ahead this coming week. Have a great Judging July!

Normally 2nd half of August is when we start feeling a little cooler. Hard to say exactly though of course every year is different. Just like this year we hit 90+ a few times in APRIL and then it wasn't that hot again until July. Weather is hard to predict but we certainly are in the hardcore hottest part now normally.

My Dad's birthday is on August 11th and I always associate that time with when you can really feel the decrease in humidity. A hot August day in the 80's really feels different than a very humid day in July at the same temp. I went back through some weather records and last year we had a few overnight 50's last year in August. So yeah, all of us will sweat this week, but relief is in sight.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 122
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 100
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 39

Happy July Week! Today folks we have 122 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 100 days to go until November (Milestone!) and 39 days left until The Bers. It is Milestone Monday folks as we can clearly see we have reached the 100-Day Marker till November. Now for all you Summer Sweatfest fans maybe that makes you smile thinking of November. I hope it won’t take till November to cool off though. Now your next milestone folks is this week believe it or not. Thursday will be Tom Turkey Day #8. A big one for sure. Now with it being Monday folks let’s do our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week which stands at 17 weeks. Folks this is a big one. A huge one. When we start our Weekly Countdown it started at 51. Divide that by 3 you get 17. Today folks we begin the FINAL third of the Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. 2 thirds down and 1 third to go. That is pretty amazing if you ask me. Back to work for me after a full week off. The break was nice but I look forward to going back to work too which I’m fortunate to say. Still got a couple of 3 day weekends to look forward to later in August and early September for Labor Day obviously. Keep it real turkey fans. Enjoy your day today. Have a great July Week!
