I will sign that petition.I wish we could have 3 months of October weather before Thanksgiving. That would be great.
Me too!I wish we could have 3 months of October weather before Thanksgiving. That would be great.
It feels like we've had 3 months of July for sure!I wish we could have 3 months of October weather before Thanksgiving. That would be great.
Me three!Me too!
So true!It feels like we've had 3 months of July for sure!
Pretty nice here (mostly in the shade)...that sun is hot this time of year...but no rain, lower humidity...it's actually nice for mid-summer!Today's blazing hot, I am cooling off with fond thoughts of a brisk Thanksgiving day.
Normally 2nd half of August is when we start feeling a little cooler. Hard to say exactly though of course every year is different. Just like this year we hit 90+ a few times in APRIL and then it wasn't that hot again until July. Weather is hard to predict but we certainly are in the hardcore hottest part now normally. We had 64 degrees this morning, and today only got up to 83 degrees. It truly felt like a "Bers Day". Next week we have two very hot days coming up, one day is 94 and one day might hit 100. I knew for a while now that the last two weeks of July was the peak hottest time. But the magic thing that is going on is the big cool downs of an evening and early morning. 60s and even low 70's after a day that hits almost 100 feels very cool. And it will get better and better the farther we go, and especially once we hit August! The gradual cooling down is in full effect then here!
My Dad's birthday is on August 11th and I always associate that time with when you can really feel the decrease in humidity. A hot August day in the 80's really feels different than a very humid day in July at the same temp. I went back through some weather records and last year we had a few overnight 50's last year in August. So yeah, all of us will sweat this week, but relief is in sight.Normally 2nd half of August is when we start feeling a little cooler. Hard to say exactly though of course every year is different. Just like this year we hit 90+ a few times in APRIL and then it wasn't that hot again until July. Weather is hard to predict but we certainly are in the hardcore hottest part now normally.
Haha!I found these two scary-looking gnomes with turkey hats at Ollie's yesterday. I just looked at them and said "No way". But I had to get a picture.

I think it's far away still because we haven't touched The Bers thankfully. But in a good way not like an eternity away like we felt back in January!123 days seems so close...yet still so far away. I'm so ready for the Bers...
