DAYS TILL THE BERS: 13

Happy Summery Weekend! Today folks we have 96 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 74 days to go until November, and 13 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be in 3 days and will be the Home Stretch till The Bers. Talk about really awesome huh? And we move along here in the late stages of our Summer Sweatfest with a summer weekend and our 3-day weekend with part 2 being today. My favorite part – Saturday. Saturday is the best day to me. I love it. It’s like Thanksgiving. It’s #1. And of course if you are a turkey fan you kind of wish you’d have a Thanksgiving every single week like you have a Saturday. But then could you imagine eating turkey every single week? And stuffing? And sweet potatoes? And putting on the football game? And watching a parade? I think that would get kind of expensive and crazy don’t you? Now turkey fans you all enjoy your Saturday and the weekend here that we are on now here in summer. And enjoy the time you have with your family and friends this weekend. Enjoy the break from the running around of the work week. And the quietness that you may enjoy this weekend. Busy weekend here but I always make time for you all at MMC. You’re the best. Have a great Summery Weekend!​
 
My weeks seem to be "jumping" time, almost leaping. I can't believe we are closer to the end of August than the start, it feels like it was just the end of July. Have a great day!
 
I love my Saturdays too. But let's stick to just once a year for the BIG Thanksgiving celebration. We wouldn't want it to lose its specialness. ;)

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 73
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 12

Happy Sweet Summer! Today folks we have 95 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 73 days to go until November, and 12 left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the Home Stretch till The Bers. It will be on Tuesday. That is the day after tomorrow folks. Get ready for it will you? I will do the same. But we move along in the late stages of our Summer Sweatfest not really sweating as much as in July thankfully. But it will warm up today and get kind of hot/humid again into Monday. But then nicer weather looks to return. Why do I have a weird feeling that all of this nicer weather many are seeing in August will turn around in September into some hurricanes or hot weather? Hopefully not. But we will see. Time will tell. For now it’s a nice Sunday here in this thread as we enjoy our final day of our quiet weekend period. Day 3 of 3. And we move along looking for all the right things including turkey in our plates and in our tummy. But in August we’re just enjoying our latter portion of summer. It’s kind of like when you get to the later stages of winter you sort of learn to really enjoy what you have with everything exciting in front of you (in winter it’s spring and in summer it’s autumn). Thanks for the pep talk Edge, I was feeling a bit grumpy about the weather forecast with the heat and humidity coming in again, but thanks to you I am going to do my best to enjoy it.

If you're not a summer fan this time of year is like the latter stages of February to a non winter fan. You kind of realize it's not going to last forever now. So just make the most of it and smile at the cooler days ahead which there are plenty of those coming.

Happy Latter Summer Week! Today folks we have 94 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 72 days to go until November, and 11 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be TOMORROW when we reach the Home Stretch till The Bers. It’s really coming soon. This is our FINAL full Non-Bers Week folks. Hard to believe. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest looking up at our counts and enjoying them very much on this Monday. With it being Monday let’s get down to business. It’s time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week which now stands at 13. Folks – We are 75% of the way there. That’s just amazing and a cause to think let’s hit the brakes so we don’t slide too fast into The Bers and wind up eating turkey right away. I need a full Halloween and Fall Season in between that time period. Now turkey fans I hope you are enjoying your Monday and that your week is off to a good start. Keep it real my friends and enjoy your Monday as much as you can. And enjoy the 75% marker. And football is coming soon too folks. It’s all right in front of us but this week we safely stay in the Non-Bers part of the year. After that you all know what happens. We’ll get to that next week. Have a great Latter Summer Week!​
 
I was thinking about Thanksgiving and grocery shopping the other day. And when Michelle and went shopping last week, we noticed a lot of empty spaces on the shelves at Walmart. Things were sold out. I did not see that at Publix and Kroger. But it made me wonder if there will be a shortage of food or related products again this year.
