DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 92
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 70
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 9

Happy Summer Mid-Week! Today folks we have 92 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 70 days to go until November, and 9 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone is tomorrow when we reach Tom Turkey Day #9. Wow. A big one is coming tomorrow folks. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest and see our Bers countdown is down to single digits. Folks – It feels so real now. Let’s do our Weekly Wednesday Poll talking about The Bers!

Which of The Bers months do you think is the most underrated?
  • September
  • October
  • November
  • December
  • Honestly it depends how you look at it but I’m going to say B. Now I could really answer any of them. But I feel like October just doesn’t get enough credit because the group of Halloween fans is a smaller niche group than Christmas fans. And as an addict of Halloween/Football/Autumn I feel like October is my favorite month of the year so it’s underrated in my mind at least. What about you? Have a great Summer Mid-Week!
October for sure. We have the hardcore group of Halloween fans, but I think overall in the "normal world" October gets very little attention and even Halloween itself doesn't get lots of advertising / exposure compared to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Have a great day!

I'm having a hard time choosing between September and November. I feel like September doesn't get its due because you have Labor Day at the very beginning of the month, and the rest of the month is more or less normal. Kids are still in school (or starting back, depending on where you live), and not many people really give September a second thought.

On the other hand, November often gets overshadowed by the Christmas season, and I think outside of us crazies here at MMC, most people probably don't share the same excitement that we do for Thanksgiving Week. November as a stand-alone month is fantastic. The weather is gorgeous, and the stores haven't yet been overrun by stampeding deal-hunters (although that changes during the last week of the month).

I think I'll give the nod to September. As "the sweet spot," it's really an unappreciated month in the Bers, but it gives us the chance to settle in and prepare for all the great things that lie ahead.

Same. My vote is for September.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 91
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 69
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 8

Happy Enjoying Summer! Today folks we have 91 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 69 days to go until November, and 8 days left until The Bers. It’s Milestone Day folks as we have reached Tom Turkey Day #9. Incredible. And also, today is ¾ of the way to Thanksgiving Day. The final quarter of the pizza pie is beginning folks. Are you ready for it? Our next milestone folks is the culmination of our Bers Countdown. Yes, in 8 days we’ll reach the Arrival of The Bers. We’ll be truly home folks. I know it’s hard to believe but luckily for us that is only the START of the best time of the year. We have The Bers road that will take us right to our ultimate destination in this thread which is Thanksgiving Day. We continue along in our Summer Sweatfest here and have our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

More than any other day of the year I can imagine Thanksgiving Day more easily even than Christmas Eve/Day. I think Thanksgiving Day is just a day where you know what you will be doing from start to finish more than any other day. Other traditions get mixed in on other days but Thanksgiving I think you just have it mapped out in your head and it always seems to go that traditional way.

Turkey fans it’s hard to believe we’re 75% of the way home but we have 25% of the way to go. And most of it is BERS territory. Keep it real turkey fans. Have a great Enjoying Summer!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 90
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 68
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 7

Happy TGIF! Today folks we have 90 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 68 days to go until November, and 7 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone is one week from today and is the most obvious milestone you could think of up until this point. Our 3 countdowns will become 2 on that day as we reach our destination of The Bers. It will be in 7 days folks. For now we move along in our Summer Sweatfest feeling ok I hope on this Friday. A little pizza tonight and a laid-back weekend is just what I kind of was hoping for and it looks like I will have that. Turkey fans I hope you are going to enjoy our quiet 3-day weekend period here. This is day 1 so let’s get it off to a good start shall we? And from there we can see how things progress. And keep it real on this Friday thinking turkey thoughts in your heads as I am as well. And smile at where we are right now on the calendar here in later August. It’s a great time of year for all of us. Don’t rush it. Just enjoy it. And enjoy being in the late stages of summer. I hope you all are having a good week and are ready for your weekend which will be coming sooner rather than later. Take care on this Friday my turkey friends and enjoy your day. Have a great TGIF!

WOW. Just 90 days to go until Thanksgiving. We knew this number was coming, but I always think that when a holiday is just "months" out, it seems so much closer.

Have a wonderful Friday!
