DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 89
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 67
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 6

Happy Final Weekend Of August! Today folks we have 89 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 67 days to go until November, and 6 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Friday when we reach THE BERS. Do I really need to say more than that? We move along now in the final week of our Summer Sweatfest. Not the nicest summer here to be honest. Too many clouds, showers and humidity. But certainly July was the peak of the unreal humidity nonstop high every single day. Yet, I miss July. I think it’s kind of like how lately I miss January when it’s ending. The total opposites. But I like being in that extreme time of year, in a strange way. Hardcore Winter and Hardcore Summer. But now folks we move along towards the most awesome season of all: Autumn. Still have almost a month to go until it officially arrives but with September looming and football season not too far behind that we’ll definitely get an early taste of it. Turkey fans we move along in our Part 2 of 3 quiet period and I really do enjoy this folks with all of you. I hope you all are having a great day today. And as good of a weekend as you can possibly have. Thanks for being here today my turkey friends. And enjoy your Saturday as much as you can. Have a great Final Weekend Of August!

Our school district's first high school game was last night. It was chaos. The cars were piled into the school parking lot and then overflowed across the street into the Walmart parking lot. At some point there was an accident and police and firefighters had to come out and clear the traffic. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it happens every year, but dang: people here sure do love their high school football.

I never had school spirit when it came to our high school, but I absolutely loved cheering for my college team. Go Tigers!

Not here in the south. We are still experiencing it every day. And no end in sight for probably another 2-3 weeks. I know, I know. Whoa is me. LOL

We have moved into that pre-fall stage where mornings are crisp and cool and days are still hotter than hot. I have to go to some towns that are in the high Rockies yesterday and the temps for huge chunks of the day were in the 50s and 60s. It was divine and certainly put me in the mood for both the Bers and beloved Thanksgiving.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 88
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 66
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 5

Happy Styling Sunday! Today folks we have 88 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 66 days to go until November, and 5 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Friday when we reach the Arrival of The Bers. Really it’s an 8-month build to a 4 month Bers. That’s what we always say. We move along here in our final weekend of our Summer Sweatfest. Had that a/c running all day on Saturday. Sunday should be less humid so maybe not as much a/c. But I like my a/c. I use it from April till October really in my bedroom. It’s an attic room so it easily gets warm up there. But don’t worry by turkey day it’s chilly up there. And I need the heat of the oven on Thanksgiving Morning to come up the stairs to make me feel warmer. I watched some football yesterday. Jets vs. Giants. Pre-Season football means nothing. But it’s awesome to see it on television. One of the great things about summer is just having it on and having it back. Turkey fans I hope your weekend is going ok and we go into Part 3 of 3 in our Quiet Weekend Period. And I hope you’re ready to enjoy it for what it is now. Keep your turkey thoughts and dreams with you all Sunday long my friends. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Have a great Styling Sunday!

I was thinking about Thanksgiving and grocery shopping the other day. And when Michelle and went shopping last week, we noticed a lot of empty spaces on the shelves at Walmart. Things were sold out. I did not see that at Publix and Kroger. But it made me wonder if there will be a shortage of food or related products again this year.
I noticed this at Walamrt too but not at the grocery stores in my area.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 87
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 65
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 4

Happy Final Week Of August! Today folks we have 87 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 65 days left until November, and 4 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone folks is Friday. Honestly, if I have to tell you what Friday is then you shouldn’t be on this website lol. Just kidding. It’s going to be the Arrival of The Bers. We’ll be HOME folks. I know it’s hard to believe. But we are heading in that direction. I look forward to it. And I am looking forward to all the fun ahead of counting down the days with all of you this week until The Bers. But it’s Monday folks and we have our own special Weekly Countdown on Mondays which is the countdown until Thanksgiving Week which now stands at 12 weeks. That’s a dozen folks. Like a dozen donuts, a dozen bagels, a dozen weeks. Now turkey fans we move along our final days of our Summer Sweatfest although I do have a feeling we’ll be sweating some in September. Normally we do anyway and I’m sure we will this year. But not as bad as July hopefully. That humidity still sticks in my mind. Turkey fans no matter what you have a Monday here and a new week to begin and get off on the right foot ok? Don’t let any day get by you without making the most of it. Have a great Final Week Of August!

89 hours and 29 minutes until we arrive back home at THE BERS! I hope this week goes by at a fair pace. Most of us will be looking forward to a three day weekend, so I hope that doesn't make the time "drag". It shouldn't be too bad.

A dozen weeks to go until we gobble gobble!
