How are you supposed to get it out of the can looking like that? I tried and tried last year and couldn't do it.
For us, I've always found that simply opening the top of the can, and running a butter knife around the outside "edge" will get it to slide right out. Sometimes we've opened the can and it's slid out on its own!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 267
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 240
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 179

Happy March Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and have 267 days remaining until Thanksgiivng, 240 days to go until November, and 179 days left until The Bers. Friends we move along in the late stages of our Winter Wonderland eyeing our next milestone 2 weeks from today when we welcome in spring. Oh my favorite season? Ok, no Autumn is first. But today’s Weekly Wednesday Poll is about the seasons so let’s look below!

Assuming that everyone’s favorite season is Autumn which of the below seasons is your 2nd favorite?

  • Winter – It includes Christmas Eve/Day and I like the cold more than the heat.
  • Spring – It feels the most similar to Autumn of the other 3 seasons.
  • Summer – I love the heat and the summer feeling and it’s the closest season to Autumn.
  • I only like Autumn. The other 3 seasons are a toss-up to me.
  • Well folks this one is not easy for me. I can’t choose A despite Christmas Eve/Day argument which we talk about in the Hang Out today. But I can’t put winter 2nd. B and C? Well I always have said summer so I’m going to stick with C. And also it is closest to Autumn. I love 4th of July. And I don’t mind the heat as long as my a/c is working of course. What about you? Enjoy your day turkey friends. Have a great March Mid-Week!

It's a tough choice for me to choose between Spring and Winter. Everyone knows I strongly dislike Summer. I think Spring might have the slight edge just because there are outside activities to enjoy along with the mild weather. Winter the only outside activities really are snow shoveling or using the snow blower lol. It's a tough choice but I'm going with Spring!

Looks like I'll be the only dissident in the thread, but I'm going to have to go with A. If I lived anywhere else, I'm sure I wouldn't like winter as much, but because it never gets too cold down here, it's rather enjoyable. Also, winter has Christmas and football. We don't get those two things in spring or summer. The years that we have the Winter Olympics are a bonus. I like watching them more than the Summer Olympics.

I think CW is the only one who dislikes winter more than you!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 266
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 239
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 178

Happy Week Into March! Today folks we have 266 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 239 days to go until November, and 178 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be when we reach the Arrival of Spring which is in less than 2 weeks now. And speaking of spring, we continue in our Winter Wonderland although it is starting to wind down a bit isn’t it? Not much cold/snow around anywhere near my area for the last couple of weeks and by the looks of it not much of it coming either. Friends it’s Thursday and time for our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below this line!

If Thanksgiving couldn’t be in Autumn I think Spring would be the best choice for a season to put it in. I know some may say winter because it’s colder but to me it’s too cold for Thanksgiving. And while having a celebration of Thanksgiving in summer would be fun I think it’s too hot. To me, if it had to be moved to another season I’d move it to spring.

Turkey friends whenever Thanksgiving would be I would celebrate it as much as possible as I know all of you would as well. Enjoy your day today and be safe out there. We had a very rainy night here. Have a great Week Into March!

Spring would be a great place for it. Thankful that we survived the winter. ;)

Sometimes I feel like Thanksgiving is in Spring, based on the temps here in November. It's really a toss-up: one year you could be wearing shorts and a t-shirt to Thanksgiving dinner, and the next year you could already be in a sweater. You never can predict what the weather's going to be like around here.
