Now it's a party! Happy Tuesday!

How are you supposed to get it out of the can looking like that? I tried and tried last year and couldn't do it.

For us, I've always found that simply opening the top of the can, and running a butter knife around the outside "edge" will get it to slide right out. Sometimes we've opened the can and it's slid out on its own!

I was going to ask if anyone else got a little thrill out of having the cranberry sauce slide out of the can perfectly in one piece, ridges and all. But I think I already have the answer!

If it doesn't seem like it will slide out on its own, I run a thin knife around the inside of the can, trying not to spoil the surface of the sauce.

I was wondering if ran the can under hot water for a minute if that wouldn't loosen it up.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 265
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 238
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 177

Happy March TGIF! Today folks we have 265 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 238 days to go until November, and 177 days left until The Bers. We move along here in the later stages of our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone being one of my personal favorites which is the Arrival of Spring. It will happen in a dozen days from now. Well it’s Friday so let’s do our Fun Fact Friday which we all love in this year’s thread!

Turkey is the most famous food consumed on Thanksgiving, to the point where Thanksgiving is sometimes colloquially called “Turkey Day.”

Well that’s a fact we all know and experience ourselves. Some of us call it Turkey Day don’t we? And for good reason. One of the first things you associate Thanksgiving with is turkey. I think that is something we definitely all love calling it. Turkey friends I hope you all have a great time today. And enjoy your day today. It’s Friday so gear up for that upcoming weekend this weekend. Ok? It’s going to be a big one. We still have 2 more weekends to go in this winter time officially. Have a great March TGIF!

Happy Friday Turkey Friends! I miss Thanksgiving. There's been a few weeks where I have thought about Thanksgiving but haven't really felt the "pangs" of missing it but I have missed it the last few days. I think it's just my body / mind mentally getting ready to enter Spring and knowing that I am just one season "before" my longing and excitement for The Bers and the Holidays reach critical mass. The start of summer is always another mental turning point for me, because I know that "OUR" time is up next! Have a wonderful Friday!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 264
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 237
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 176

Happy Late Winter Weekend! Today folks we have 264 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 237 days to go until November, and 176 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be when spring arrives which will be in 11 days. Friends we move along in the later days of our Winter Wonderland feeling good. And it’s time for our quiet weekend period. Part 1 of that is today. And here we are trying to enjoy it as much as we can. Shhhhh can you hear the quiet? Ironic comment isn’t it? But turkey friends I hope your week has gone ok. And now we made it to our weekend. Here we are friends. Feeling good. Feeling great. Feeling awesome. I hope your weekend goes well. We lose an hour so don’t forget tonight before you go to bed spring ahead. Those clocks will all move forward by 1 hour. And it will be now lighter into the evening which I love but darker in the morning (at least for now). But spring is definitely coming and changing the clocks is a big sign of it. Turkey friends we won’t lose the hour on Thanksgiving Day. Can you imagine if we did? Let’s not think about that. I don’t think any of us could imagine that right now. Turkey friends gobble gobble to all of you out there on this Saturday. Have a great Late Winter Weekend!

Even though winter is still here for another week or so, I really feel like it "ends" tomorrow morning when the clocks move forward. And it's Spring like weather all around us. I feel like the first half of our winter was pretty "wintery" for lack of a better word, but then we sort of stalled out in late January. Most of February was mild save for the back to back snow storms we got and that little bit of ice. But for the past two to three weeks it's been very mild here. I'm ready for the next Season. Have a great day!

We had a little more winter weather than last winter (that's not saying much) but a little more snow/ice. However, the cold shots from last winter were colder than the coldest cold shots this winter. We did have 1 week in January where our temperature didn't get above freezing so that was pretty consistently cold even if it wasn't brutal.
