Happy Monumental May! Today folks we have 189 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 162 days left until November, and 101 days to go until The Bers. We have reached a big milestone friend as Tom Turkey Day #6 has arrived. And tomorrow is the biggest milestone of them all (dare I say)? Well, it’s right up there and it would be the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. Stress Free Super Spring continues today for a final day with today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
The Halfway Marker till Thanksgiving is coming. How exciting is that? Being halfway is like being at the top of a mountain. A mountain of gravy? On a turkey? Now I’m getting hungry. Halfway markers always hit me the most because then you know that as much time that has left us since the last Thanksgiving remains equally until the next Thanksgiving.
Halfway markers to me are really the best markers of the year, in a way. I always get excited for them but a bit nervous too. It’s like wow we’re halfway but we still have halfway to go which calms me down a bit as well. I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your day today. Gobble Gobble. Have a great Monumental May!

Happy Tom Turkey Day #6! I'm going to try and watch some old NFL games tonight to conjure up some feelings of Thanksgiving Football. And we're now one day away from a HUGE milestone tomorrow. Nothing is going to feel the same after tomorrow is over.
Can you elaborate on the "Broken Promises" at the end of your post, or is that just a typo / copy/paste error?

Ditto! I was curious about it too. Probably just a copy/paste error, but my guess is that Edge's day job is being a songwriter, and "Broken Promises" is the title of his latest single.

FYI - Broken Promises was actually simply something I accidentally cut from the same wordpad I save my posts on (which I type and then copy/paste) where I save some phrases to play Hangman at another site with a friend...yeah you would have never guessed that was what happened!

Happy Memorial TGIF! Today folks we move along and see we have 188 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 161 days left until November, and 100 days to go until The Bers. We have reached THE milestone folks which is the 100-Day Marker till The Bers. And we have begun a new season which we affectionately call the “Summer Sweatfest.” 100 days of sweating…but hopefully a few cooler moments mixed in there too. Turkey friends it’s an exciting time and our next milestone will be the Arrival of June which will be 1 week from Saturday. But it’s Friday folks so let’s look at our Fun Fact Friday below first!
When the parade first began in 1924, it featured live animals like camels, elephants, bears, and monkeys borrowed from the Central Park Zoo. These animals were part of the parade until 1927 when the introduction of large character balloons replaced them, starting with the famous Felix the Cat balloon. This began the tradition of the iconic giant balloons. This switch was made partly because animals were frightening to some children, and the balloons were a entertaining alternative.
