That is SO cool!!! 1/4 of the way there I mean...Back is better today but far from good...I walk like an eighty year old and if I sneeze I cry...Not very macho...Oh well...I guess I never really was anyway...

Jay

Jay,
I think it might be better to cry than wet your pants!!!

:merry:

Good morning my friends.....It´s 10 to 10am...and it´s terribly windy.....and it´s only 317 days till Christmas.....and we got 802 posts already....woah...

Can I join in? LOL.....
You may indeed, Luv. And welcome to the count!
The more the merrier (Christmas, that is).

Good morning, Friends, new and old!

Another day is upon us. Another one closer to our Marvelous, Terrific, Wonderful, Thrilling, Fabulous, Stupendous, Super Christmas Season!!

And we have crept perilously close to that 1/4 Season Milestone marker.
That's right - day after tomorrow, we will reach Feb 12 and be a quarter of the way through our journey!
Days to the Season: 276
Days to Christmas Day:318
(And you thought it was so far away!)

The sun has just broken through the clouds here in Raleigh at this hour where our temperature stands at 48 with a slight chance of showers.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

Since the city is running behind on yard debris pick-up, there are still Christmas Trees along the curbs awaiting collection.
Looks a little ghoulish - kind of like dead bodies after a war.
....Must try not to think about it....
....Must get more sleep....

317 days, 11 hours, 22 min and 44 sec to go!

While I am waiting I will carry on with my every day stuff.
Today I have 8 mini cakes to do for Valentines day.
Have a great day all!cheesy

back home now...been visiting a good friend of mine and her babygirl....now we are going to start the second season of the gilmore girls

Speaking of seeing dead Christmas trees, I am still seeing Christmas wreaths, lights, and sporadic Christmas decor all around in neighborhoods!:tree:

Good evening, Friends! We had a gorgeous day today - 60 in Mid-Michigan. Love it!! Hope everyone had as great a day as I did, if not better

:tree: Our curbside removal took place in mid-January, Crown.

It seems so sad to see trees tossed onto snowbanks, some still wearing tinsel. I know a few people that collect them for the animals, but it does seem a bit disheartening to see them knowing it means Christmas is over.

:hello: Alas, good friends, the nearing milestone paints a different story and I'm going to hold that one in my view.

I had a dream lastnight that I could see four city blocks all lit up beautifully like a Christmas movie and then I coughed and the lights went out.

It was just getting good too. Wish I didn't wake up so soon. I was going to rap on a few doors and see if anyone had turkey to share.

Guess what my sweet husband made for me today. Yip, turkey.

Y'all get to feeling better. I'm still trying to pretend I don't have the cold virus that's roaming our community. So far, I think I have myself fooled.

must get sleep omg that is hiarious....

OMG YABBA YABBA

hialrious.. at the shispering pines.. with a good sllep and a fired twinkie..OMG...

YABBA.. JAy what's wrong with your back? dude?

Good Morning everyone. I hope You all gon have a nice and beautifull day with Your loved ones! God bless Y´all

.....I had a dream lastnight that I could see four city blocks all lit up beautifully like a Christmas movie and then I coughed and the lights went out.....
Ah! Here's to dreams. Here's to sleep!
(Try that beautiful fantacy with....coffee!)
The message of your story is clear, Auntie - if you are having a wonderful dream, try not to coffee....er....cough!

Good Morning, Folks.

And it's a nice one outside in Raleigh where we stand at 60 February-Friendly degrees, with lots of sun and no wind.
Birds are singing, dogs are barking, children are screaming, Jay is carefully dancing with a back brace, Maureen is plaiding her fingers to the bone......Binger is happily drowning in a cistern of coffee.

TOMORROW!!
Whaaa.......?
The 1/4 Season mark arrives tomorrow!
That's right - a quarter of the way back to our Christmas Season!
Days to the Season: 275
Days to Christmas Day:317

And with that thought, I'm sure everyone will have a Wonderful Wednesday!
(And Holiday, who cares about the weekend peak of the week view when the view to tomorrow is so beautiful??)

:hello: I dream about Christmas quite a bit. I dream quite a bit. I sleep quite a bit. I think I have Crownsyndrome. I love my dreams, they're so vibrant in colour and action-packed, sometimes it's like I'm starring in my own movie.

Once I had a dream that I was one of the Flintstones. Uggh! Why couldn't I have been one of the Peanuts?

:snowball: Today was the first sign that my prediction of an early Spring could come true. I can see the water in the creek. Okay there's still plenty of snow on the ground and a few places where it's kind of like a skating rink, but it was about 50F today and that's beautiful since it's usually much colder, although it felt damp - hey damp comes with rain. The snow won't go away by the end of the month or the first week of March with mere sunshine alone. Not the oodles of snow we got.

Played with O'Malley for a bit after dinner. He has a carnival snake that he loves to wrestle with while I'm holding it. Sometimes I use one of his dangly wand toys - anything to get him to stay active. We've been trying to take a few pounds off him as the Vet instructed last year, but O'Malley is still growing. He was supposed to lose at least three pounds and I think he's gained a pound and a half. He goes for his annual check up in May and I think he's about 23 lbs and he was 21.5 last year when I was told to get him to drop three and then more the next year so he'd get down eventually to 16 lbs. I can't see him ever weighing less than 18. He's a big boy. His paws are like rabbit feet. (Well not quite.)

During my morning work out some crazy notion took over and I headed upstairs to run around the track (Blinded By The Light was playing on my MP3 player) ... so I'm whippin' around and when the song rolled into another one I power-walked a few laps. It was the wee hours of the morning. 6:55 a.m. (not so wee for Binger) and I could see out the windows around the track. I squinted my eyes and said to myself "cool - Christmas lights"! Of course I was seeing the lights from vehicles and traffic lights, but if you use your imagination they look like Christmas lights.

Really! :hello:

If you sleep alot you do have Crown syndrome.....

YABBA....
