DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 45
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 18

Happy October Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 45 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 18 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be in 1 week + 1 day. It will be the Home Stretch till November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with this Monday being time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. And what does the count stand at now you may ask? Believe it or not friends it stands at 6 weeks. Wow. Down to 6 now huh? Well that’s half a dozen. But we still need to count with 2 hands for this week. Turkey friends I hope you all had a great weekend. And I hope that you are ready for a brand new week to start up. It’s not just a new week but it’s an October Week which I totally love. Had fun at my 2nd annual Headless Horseman event last night. Will post a review in the Hang Out tomorrow on Tuesday. But for today turkey friends we focus on that delicious turkeyyyyyyyyyyy. Well sorry I couldn’t help myself. I got a little hungry there for a minute. Turkey friends the best to you today. And I hope you are enjoying your brand new week. We are still safely in October (and still the first half at that). I almost feel like October is taking it’s time compared to September even. Maybe it’s my imagination. Have a great October Week!​

After we get back from vacation this weekend, I’ll be picking up my cajun turkey. I am glad (and shocked) to see that there wasn’t a price increase this year. If I can afford it and my kids don’t bleed me dry at the fair this week, I might pick up two of them.
 
Six weeks! I am giving myself one week to decide the menu for Thanksgiving (at home) and to make a loose timeline of events, not just for the best week of the year but for the errands leading up to it! Maybe that extra week will come in handy?!?
 
Woohoo! Just six more weeks!

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 17

Happy Mid-October! Today folks we move along and see that we have 44 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 17 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be in 1 week when we reach our Home Stretch till November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with it being Tuesday and that means Picture Day in this thread. Awesome isn’t it? Turkey friends I hope you will all join me in posting some of your favorite pictures and scenes from the fall and Thanksgiving Season. It’s pretty amazing if you ask me. Turkey friends I trust your week is going well so far. It’s early I know. I had a good Monday but I actually got to work from home as power was out in our building. I liked it for a change. But I still had a busy gobbling day at home working. And of course enjoying those cooler October breezes. It actually chilled down last night and we have some chilly mornings here this week. Temps getting down into the 30s? Yes, it’s very possible and happening in my area but it warms up to decent levels in the 50s the next few days. Turkey friends the best to you and yours. I hope you are all doing well. And I hope your family and friends are also. I’ll return later to do some posting myself with pictures. Have a great Mid-October!​
 
Cant believe we are down to under six weeks to go to Thanksgiving! It just doesn't seem possible. Like Edge said, the next time we do the weeks count, it will be able to be done on one hand! Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Middle Day Of October! Today folks we move along and see that we have 43 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 16 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be in less than 1 week from now when we reach the Home Stretch till November. Amazing. What’s one thing you like least about October?​

  • The chill.​
  • Halloween stuff.​
  • Leaves turning/falling.​
  • The wait it causes of the Holiday Season.​
  • Obviously not B for me. Not D because I love October as much as the holiday season. I’m going to say A. I don’t mind raking so…I do like the chill because it’s not winter and it wouldn’t feel right being in the 80s in October. But I still like it the least because I’m a warm weather guy overall.
