First Happy Halloween!!!!! Second ... How did we get here so fast???
The extended family is coming over tonight. U s ladies are walking the kids around trick or treating while the guys hang out at our house handing candy put. We have a hotdog bar for dinner tonight. Chili, cheese, all the other hotdog toppings!

Happy Halloween, y'all. Happy arrival of The Holidays. The Grove Manor pumpkin is lit, the hot chocolate is made, and I'm celebrating the start of the magic time. Seems like only yesterday I was typing this same message to this same wonderful crew who know how important all this . . .the anticipation, the traditions, the spirit . . really is. I hope we can all meet like this for many more Halloweens to come.

Evening Halloween Fans! I can't believe this is the final time I will say that in this thread. Thanks SS for bringing the spooky fun all year long here. I look forward to the new thread. Just had pizza and watching Halloween Shows. Best Halloween Season Ever. Happy Halloween!

Well, this is it. Halloween 2024 is just about in the books here. I just got back from Trick or Treating with Abigale, we ended up running into my sister and her daughter, who is Abigale's cousin and also her best friend in this world. We ended up walking a few blocks with them. We stopped and got pizza on the way home and are preparing to dig in.
Folks, I am always sad to see Halloween season go. I start searching for it again that last week of December when we are deep in "The Slog". And there isn't a day goes by that Fall, Halloween, and Christmas is not on my brain.
The next few months this thread might get a little "quiet", everybody is going to slide into Christmas season, and it is going to be wonderful, but make no mistake, Halloween is there in the background, watching and waiting for the beginning of the new year when we start chasing it hardcore again.
For the next few days, I am going to enjoy the "Halloween Afterglow". As little thoughts and ideas come to me about the 2025 Countdown Season, I might write them down and save.
In closing, I think this is the best Halloween season that I ever had. I think starting it "early" for myself when September arrived made it feel "longer". I was also already mentally there since being decorated for Autumn over the course of Fall Pre-Season.
In closing, I just want to thank everybody for being here over the year, and I can't wait to start all over again tomorrow. I will be posting the **NEW 2025** Thread later tonight, I will post one last time in this thread with the new link.

I am so ready. I'm working from home tomorrow and the house will be filled with Christmas music all day. HO HO HO!!!
The new countdown will quietly make its way to the low 300s while we're all busy with Thanksgiving and Christmas. But as we begin the new year, we will be right back here watching, waiting, and yearning for Falloween 2025.

I had to come and say my goodbyes to Halloween 2024 since I didn’t get to post yesterday. It’s a bittersweet end to Spooky Season and what I consider the “Fall” part of the Bers.
