Actually, the fact is, we ALL loose an hour twice a year - it's spent changing all the clocks!

Ah! At last a morning that doesn't have me pulling my robe tightly around me as I type! It is almost 50 at this hour here in Raleigh and the weather service promises 70+ by this afternoon. Wonderful!

Happy FRIDAY everybody!!! We've got a warm day today - we have the overhead door open in the shop here at work & it's WARM!!!!! :-D It's dreary, but I'll take it!! My hubby is home sick today - coughing, fever, chills - I'm trying to figure out what I can do this afternoon so I can stay away from home! I DON'T WANT IT!!!!!

+12c today! the sun is out, the snow is melting...smells like spring. But for some reason I feel like I better watch my back so to speak, to early yet, which means we will most likely have a final blast of winter yet. But for now, I will enjoy what I have today.

OK, now that everyone is awake (and Binger just spilled their coffee) let's get to our count for this fine Saturday morning:

How is that possible? (The magic of Christmas, of course!)
We have a nice walk-friendly morning here in Raleigh at this hour where the temp stands at 54 under calm, sunny skies.
We are supposed to hit 82 both today and tomorrow.

Having a wet day here!
it is raining, and raining here today. The snow is disappearing quickly. I am working on making some people out of fondant for a cake I need done by next Saturday.(an airplane loaded with building supplies for a missions trip to Mexico to build a school) I also have to make a birthday cake for Wednesday and will be covering that with ganache for a different flavour. (it will be a chocolate pound cake drizzled with raspberry/lime, and filled with whipped cream & fresh raspberries and iced with ganche) ok, that just added 5lbs to the scale talking about it. And after I am done with those, I can concentrate more on the cake I am making for the competition in April.

been over at my mom´s today to spend time with her and my bro´s family....of course I cuddled my baby nephew plenty.......he´s such a cutie...haha...

Cold and rainy here . . . and windy (of course). My saturday (day off work) is tomorrow. I can hardly wait.
Grandma Eagle pulled through her "surgical procedure" with flying colors (Red and Green), and has recovered extremely well. Thanks to all of you for your prayers.

Germany does...but we do it I think around the 21st or something like that...next week or in two weeks
We are living right beside the river Rhine....close to us are some fields...and sometimes You see deer running around and eating....but not exactly where we live.....I walked outside yesterday to have a smoke and drink a cupa coffee....walked by our frontgate...and what did I see....a cute female deer running away from...because it heard me....that really made my day...I love deer
