Happy Extensive Cold! Today folks we move along and see that we have 308 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 282 days left until November and 221 days to go until The Bers. We have reached a milestone folks which is Tom Turkey Day #2. Our next milestone will be a major one friends. I hate to even tell you what it is, but it will be the 300-Day marker till Thanksgiving. And it will be 1 week from today. Can you believe that? The very next day too folks will be another milestone as we welcome in the month of February. Wow back-to-back milestones! We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

Thanksgiving is a warm thought on a cold day. Isn’t it? Ironically the day itself isn’t warm. But somehow it warms my heart to think about those days in November and especially Thanksgiving Eve and Day.

Keeping those warm thoughts during a cold winter like we’re having is essential. But enjoying the present is always the utmost important. Turkey friends the best to you on this Thursday. Think Thanksgiving. Have a great Extensive Cold!​

Happy Tom Turkey Day, everyone!

Today I am thankful for the brief gift of snow that we received this year, and for my wife for being able to handle my regression to an eight-year old boy when I went outside to play in it. I got to build a snowman, make snow angels, and have a snowball fight — all things that I never got to do as a kid and thought that I’d perhaps never get a chance to do.

Happy January Joke! Today folks we move along and see that we have 306 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 280 days left until November and 219 days to go until The Bers. It’s another cold day out there but nothing we can’t handle. Our next milestone will be in less than a week when we have the 300-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. The very next day we have another milestone when we reach the Arrival of February. Back to Back Milestones are coming next week. But we are all enjoying our Winter Wonderland here this Saturday which is the first half of our Quiet Weekend Period. So, let’s enjoy it as much as we can. It’s been quite a week so I’m looking forward to being home today. Turkey friends the best to you as we begin our quiet weekend here. We had a good week of lots of great topics. And we will do the same in the coming week. But for now, let’s take a moment to take a breather and relax. It will feel good for sure. The best to you all this Saturday. Turkey, TX is roughly 9 hours from where I live. It’s in the panhandle. It’s amazing how huge Texas is. Maybe I’ll take a trip there someday.

40 weeks! Wow! That means I am 20 minutes from starting my "Holiday Grand Plan", not that I have done a great job of implementing it the last few years but I like the idea of being organized and well prepared to welcome in the week of Thanksgiving!

Happy Last Weekend Of January! Today folks we move along and see that we have 305 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 279 days to go until November, and 218 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone(s) approaching at the end of this coming week (and month). It will be the 300-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. When that marker breaks friends we are out of the “Thanksgiving Doldrums” I think. What do you think of that? And the very following day we welcome in the Arrival of February. Wow that will be big as well in less than 1 week from now. It’s Sunday friends so let’s enjoy the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope the first half was good for all of you.
