Four weeks is unbelievable. The Bers always rush by too fast. On the other hand, all of the "Big 3" holidays are still ahead of us as of this week, so we're still in a good place to be! Let's enjoy this Halloween week while we still have it!
Thanksgiving 2025 Thread

I used to get this blue feeling once Christmas decorations came down. I started to decorate for winter and that helped a lot. I looked through all my Christmas decorations to see what could pass as just winter (ex: snowmen, cardinals, white trees) and also started buying some just for winter decor. I have a 4 foot slim pine tree that can just pass as a country tree that we keep lit all year (soft white lights). I've also started using a lot of fake candles around the house to give a warmth. Still bake, still have hot cocoa, still enjoying being cozy. I also take the time to jot down what will help with the following Christmas or what I would like to do differently. It really helps. I'm hoping to create a winter playlist to keep the cozy going (ex: Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, etc). It may not be their Christmas songs, but maybe music by them can help. I haven't tried that yet. Although I do have a list for fall to hold me over for Christmas (ex: Autumn Leaves by Nat King Cole, Autumn in New York by Frank Sinatra along with his "September Song." There are several other songs by people like them that aren't fall related but still cozy (ex: Unforgettable by Nat King Cole, Fly Me to the moon by Tony Bennett). And for some reason I always associate the movie Uncle Buck with winter so that becomes a January movie.

Happy Haunted Tuesday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 30 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 4 days left until November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving on Saturday. It will be the Arrival of November. That will leave us with only one countdown left in this thread. My goodness. It’s Tuesday folks so time for Picture Day. Share all those pictures of autumn and Thanksgiving. They are both here and getting closer (in Thanksgiving’s case). I have fallen in love with Autum like usual this year. It’s an amazing time of year friends. And I’m thankful we are all here together enjoying our time here in this Awesome Autumn Season. Turkey friends I know you are all enjoying your Tuesday as much as you can and maybe thinking spooky thoughts as we approach Halloween here later this week. - I’m going to go with C here. I am big into Halloween shows and always watch Garfield and a few others on Halloween Night. It’s become a big tradition for me. I have totally had such an amazing Fall/Halloween Season, and I love how it will extend and connect into November as we head towards OUR holiday here in this thread Thanksgiving.
