625 Hours until Thanksgiving Day.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 26

Happy November Arrives! Today folks we move along and see that we have 26 days remaining until Thanksgiving. Wait, what that’s it? Yes, indeed somehow that is all we have remaining is one of our three counts. It’s an incredible thing but here we are. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving when the Home Stretch to Thanksgiving arrives which will be 16 days from now. That will be our FINAL Milestone in this thread folks until we get ready to reach our destination of Thanksgiving Day. That’s unreal if you ask me. Turkey friends it’s Saturday so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. It’s an amazing spot we are in, and I hope that you are all enjoying your weekend. The start of it is a big plus for sure. I hope you are all doing well and having a great time here on this November Weekend. It is hard to believe we are in the month that we talk about all year as turkey fans. Gobble Gobble my friends. The best to you all. I hope that you are all enjoying your Saturday my Gobbling Gobblers and that you enjoy this entire weekend with Thanksgiving Thoughts in your head. The best to you my turkey friends. Enjoy your Saturday and I hope you all have a fun weekend. Have a great November Arrives!

I think I'll make pumpkin bread for my friends tomorrow. My brother loved pumpkin bread, but didn't like raisins. I would always make him a special batch with lots of walnuts and some protein powder (you couldn't taste it.). Miss him.

OK, I made my red sauce today. Tomorrow I'll freeze it. It'll be for the lasagna.

Tomorrow I will make the pumpkin bread, lemon cake and toll house Heath Bar cookie dough. All three can be frozen. My walk-in closet looks more like a Butler's pantry. Filled with nuts and baking supplies. It also houses cake, pie, and bar cookie containers that snap shut.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 25

Happy Early November! Today folks we move along and see that we have 25 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone arriving in 2 weeks + 1 days. It will be the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. Nothing is left after that one folks, so we better hit our skids as we progress through this wonderful and special month of November. I hope everyone is doing well this Sunday as we move into the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. It should be a good one today and I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. The Sunday Group is heading to the city. October was a rare month we skipped it because a lot of the Halloween stuff we do is upstate or local. We’re going to have our brunch, do a Halloween escape room and have dinner. It should be a fun day. I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday my friends as we move along into a new day. I wish you all the best here in the month of November. We are just really getting started turkey friends so take it all in as we move along step by step slowly through this wonderful month that many people consider the best month overall of the year. It’s The Bers folks, Autumn, and the month of Thanksgiving. Not much beats that. Have a great Early November!

I made Halloween sugar cookies yesterday to take to neighbors and it definitely got me in the mood for Thanksgiving baking. Cooking for Thanksgiving is so great!
The best part, for me, is watching other people enjoy it. Especially when I surprise someone. I can always see the child in an older person when they get an unexpected treat.

I say it all the time on here since May 22nd, but I am truly more Thankful this Thanksgiving Season than ever before. Thinking about The Big 3 Holidays were some of the only peaceful thoughts I had during the majority of pregnancy #2. I'm so glad to be out on the other side of that now. Again, I'm so THANKFUL!

Have a great day!

I so agree. When I took cookies to one friend, she lit up like a Christmas tree and told me frosted sugar cookies are her favorite. Make her day and made mine too. As a single, the only way I bake is when I can share with others. I don't have much of a sweet tooth,

Yes, and there are so many in need this year. I'm going to make a trip to the VA nursing home in early December with lots of cookies and scratch-off lottery tickets. The men love the tickets.
I have such a soft spot for the Vets, especially the Viet Nam-era ones, we never have given them the recognition they deserved. A significant portion of my caseload are vets in recovery--so many of them self-medicate. I bet they really do love those scratch offs.
