Auntiemistletoedear that Coke commercial took me back! I was 7 or 8 when that came out. I always remember the Kroger and Maxwell house ones as well. I also remember seeing(usually in September) the ads for the Christmas albums you could order and get in 6-8 weeks. Times have really changed.

Carl had the slyest smile on his face when he read that, Auntie. He's got me worried. Likely working on some fantastically weird coffee blends again.
(You know Auntie, I believe that he and Binger just might be consulting on some of these projects. I know he has a backer that he won't name at this time. What do you think?)

Wow! High winds here yesterday along with rain. A tree down across the road just 3 houses down from my father's.
Calm this morning where we stand at 65 currently. No rain predicted for today.
Cool today and especially tomorrow, when we are not supposed to get out of the 60's all day.

Well I just got back from taking mom out to dinner. I haven't done much today just hung out with my mom, my sister, my aunt, and my two nieces. I think I am going to take the rest of the night to get caught up on the computer and to get ready to work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great day and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all of those moms out there.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms! I cooked my Mom and Wife a wonderful meal (at least I thought so) and we watched...of all things....Fred Claus on HBO! What's the chances? Well, it was a good time. It won't quit raining, so staying indoors was the only thing we could do. About to get things ready for next week....hope you all enjoy your week.

We begin yet another week -- one which will move us 7 days closer to the Christmas Season and will see the arrival of the 1/2 SEASON MILESTONE (May 15, now barely 4 days away!).
Am sorry I will not be here to see that auspicious date arrive as we will not be back from the coast until late Friday.

Very overcast with some light rain this morning where we stand at 63 degrees at this hour.
It is supposed to be cool all day with cloudy skies (actually good driving weather, with no glare).
Should be nice at the coast for the next few days with highs in the 70's and no rain predicted until Friday.

Star Trek RULZ! That was a great movie! I've never seen such stupendous special effects in a Trek film before. I'm going back!

I know what you mean, ballcoach. Since the early 80's I've played in a band. We used to be out every weekend, all hours of the night, having a big time. Nowadays, when we get a gig, we ask if the band can have a big pitcher of sweet tea...LOL! Times change, huh?

Good morning!

Cloudy, dull grey day, very chilly, had frost last night. My plants appear ok, but we are supposed to get even more frost tonight, so will have to cover them again.
I had a great mothers day and was royally spoiled. cheesy

Well it's another week and things are going ok so far. I only had about two hours of work today so I am already home. I will be cleaning house and I want to inventory my pantry and see what baking supplies I still need to stock up on before the holiday season arrives. Hope everyone has a great day.cheesy
