the farmers are up early today, had to close the windows, not a pleasant smell at all. (I live right on the edge of town)

Spending the day looking after a young woman, between school bus runs.
It is supposed to rain later today, so we will all go for a walk this morning and hit the local thrift store which is only a couple of blocks from where she lives.

My wife is going to Charleston for the weekend with her sister, so I have the kids by myself. She always handles getting them ready for school, checking homework, cooking supper, getting them ready for bed...wow, who knew she did so much?!?

Guess I'll muddle through somehow.

Good Friday, everyone! It's weird being home without my wife, but I muddled through. She'll be back Saturday afternoon. My brother and I are considering going to a late-night showing of the new Star Trek movie tonight. My mom wanted the kids to stay with her tonight, so after my son's little league game at 7pm, I'm heading to the theater. LL&P!

My cast gets cut off late this afternoon. I am going to listen to Christmas music via the computer (I have a whole-house transmitter) while I take a long, hot bubble bath tonight. I think I might even have a glass of wine and have candles burning in the bathroom. It has been so hard not to get into the tub!! I am sure that's more than you wanted to know, LOL!
