Going to be extra special this year!I have started seeing commercials for Macy's during the Winter Olympics in which they talk about celebrating "100 years of parades."

Even though they never specifically mention Thanksgiving, it's clear what "parades" they are talking about. Oh yeah, this year is gonna be BIG.

The countdown is on!
Here's hoping!Another vote here for B.
I'm cautiously optimistic. Like Rich said, it would be a shame if they celebrated their 100th parade and put the "Thanksgiving" part on the back burner. I'm counting on a dose of tradition and nostalgia, hopefully some recreations of vintage balloons and floats, and, dare I dream, some kind of nod to Miracle on 34th Street. That would be icing on the cake.
And they could also bring back Rick Astley to rickroll all of America again. I'd have no problem with that.
DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 280
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 255
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 194
Happy Fantastic February! Today folks we move along and see that we have 280 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 255 days left until November and 194 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone set to arrive in 5 days with the 250-Day Marker till November. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. It stands at 40 weeks. WOW! That’s such a big one because of the round # but if you think that’s big think about NEXT week. Not because of the # but because of the %. I will let you mathematicians’ figure that out until then. It’s been a good week here so far and today is Thursday, so I always give extra thought to Thanksgiving on Thursdays. Don’t we all? And I like how we’ve been talking about the 100th Macy’s Parade set to arrive in November. It’s been fun to discuss the outlook of what’s to come way down the road deep into The Bers and Autumn Season. I hope everyone here is having a good week so far. And the weather is improving slowly as we move along in the 2nd half of winter and the month of February. I always say things seem to slowly improve (with the ups and downs) as we get past Valentine’s and President’s Day. So far, it’s been true. We’ll see how things go forward. The best to you turkey friends. Have a great Fantastic February!
The "quarter" marker! Can I say it? I know what next week is.
Thanksgiving 2026 really feels like all the stops are being pulled out and seeing that it's the 100th anniversary of the parade puts even more pressure on this year as being BIG. None of us are going to be around to see the 200th, and we don't even know if they will still be doing it then.
And for me, I've already stated how I think the pressure is on for this Holiday Season to outperform last year (which will be easy to do) to sort of erase the stain of everything going so bad that was out of our control!
