Thanksgiving 2026 Thread

It’s not just limited to posting pictures. I think it’s probably my browser. Everything at the top is greyed out and won’t let me select any of it. I can’t bold text, insert links or add smileys. This is new and just started happening this week, so apparently there was some kind of update, either with my phone’s browser or with the forum software, that’s not playing nice.
I tried a different browser (Safari), and everything functions as expected, so that means it’s gotta be Microsoft Edge’s fault. 
Yeah, that's more than just an upload issue. I hope you get it figured out.

Happy Dozen Days Of August! Today folks we move along and see that we have 106 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 81 days left until November and 20 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with an exciting milestone coming up and that would be in less than 1 week when we reach the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

The 4 threads I basically started over the years, and this is not easy for me, but I go with A. This is a close 2nd though. But just because it’s coming up on the 10-Year Anniversary in October and I never thought I’d keep that thread going so long. To be honest if I had a “favorite” thread on this site it would be Halloween. Have a great Dozen Days Of August!

Oooh this is a tough one. All 4 are excellent threads, and it's a toss up for me to choose between "A" and "B". I think in the end, I have to go with The Daily Holiday Hangout thread. There's really no "wrong" answer here. All threads are outstanding.

I guess I’ll vote “A” too, because of the 50 Day Bers Preview. It’s just such a huge part of the site and one of the moments I look the most forward to each year. Maybe we need a 50 Day Thanksgiving Preview in this thread.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 80
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 19
Happy August Teens! Today folks we move along and see that we have 105 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 80 days left until November and 19 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive on Tuesday with the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. That will be the final time we see a triple digit count in this thread ever again. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. And guess what? It stands now at an even 15 weeks. Awesome right in the heart of the teens. You know The Bers are getting a little closer when you see those teens in our weekly count moving along. I hope you are all doing well my turkey friends on this Thursday. And I wish you well as we move along in our summer. It’s been a good summer here I think overall so far. I’m still enjoying it and one final break from work before I’m back for the long stretch of late summer through autumn into the holiday season. I love going back everyday and eventually seeing those signs of school buses around etc. It just feels right. But we still have a little more time for that here in my area. The best to you my turkey friends and I hope you enjoy your day. Have a great August Teens!

It feels weird saying there’s only 15 weeks to Thanksgiving when it’s still summer, but that’s the truth. At least 15 weeks translates to almost four months, so there’s still plenty of time leading up to it to enjoy what remains of summer and the rest of the Bers. At some point, I’ve got to practice smoking a turkey.
Luckily we are still in summer with the whole Bers and Autumn in front of us!
