I have no classes or work on Friday so...Countdown to Christmas on QVC all day!

It is so hard to believe that Christmas is creeping up on us. Drove by K-Mart in Charlotte yesterday and could already see the trees and blow up decorations in the garden center!!! I was so excited!!! I asked my wife if we could put up our Christmas decorations since stores were but she turned me down. Something about having to have Halloween first. Blah.

Yeah, I went to Lowe's yesterday and they had 2 aisles for Halloween and 2 aisles for Christmas...I wanted to stay there all day!

We have another overcast day here, but at least we're not getting rain like Atlanta is getting. Whew, that place is underwater!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Happy first day of Fall! A happy special day eve, too. Tomorrow we hit the 50 mark until the Season! Yesterday was an exhausting day. I was up at 6 AM and did not return home until 9:30. Practice, work and night class is a horrible combination.

Today is certainly not a memorable Fall day. It was extremely muggy this morning and I was sweating while walking to work. The humidity has since died down and it has been raining for a few hours now. Oh well!

I walked into Zellers (similar to K-Mart and Wal-Mart) last week and saw that the only Christmas decorations they had were just lights. Quite disappointing. Hopefully I will get out soon and be as lucky as everyone else who has experienced the Christmas flooding into department stores.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day and prepared for the 50 mark tomorrow as well as the 3/4 milestone on Friday. What a week! The arrival of Fall, 50 until the Season and then September 25th! We are practically spoiled.

I walked into Zellers (similar to K-Mart and Wal-Mart) last week and saw that the only Christmas decorations they had were just lights. Quite disappointing. Hopefully I will get out soon and be as lucky as everyone else who has experienced the Christmas flooding into department stores.

Our Zellers here does not have anything out yet either for Christmas. Costco on the other hand has lots of wonderful decorations and trees out already.

I have a 91% in there right now but, I want to keep that A so I can make the Dean's List. It's a lot of pressure I've put on myself but, that's what I want to achieve. Wish me luck! That is an awesome goal to have. My eldest daughter made that list one year and found out it looks real good on a resume. cheesy

I use to love that about indiana. We didn't do daylight savings time and just stayed the same time all year. The state house thought it confused other people around the world that did business here though so they put us on daylight savings time about three years ago. I wish they would have just left us alone because now some parts of the state are in the central time zone and others are in the eastern time zone.

Tennessee is in two time zones too. We have "our time"-Eastern, and "their time", Central!

Hey guys! Whew...what a day...I'm wore out and it's going to be a long one tomorrow too...wake at 5:15 for my daily biking...ride 10 miles or so, then off to work...after work, travel 2 hours away for the jr. football game and then back....just to do the same thing again and then travel 3 hours away for our football game...but at least we get them out of the way early! Well...bout to head to bed...see yall later...
