WOW!!! 1,000 in a month? We are awesome! Man, what a busy week and now I'm so tired. Going to hit the bed early tonight and probably try to sleep until at least 6 or 7. Getting up at 5:00 every morning has started becoming a habit which is good during the work week, but on the weekends....ugh! Going to be around reading the website and doing some work. Here's to the start of the weekend! See ya in a few!

It's the grandkids who wanted to go to the museums, but they were interesting.
It's only three and a half hours in good weather to get to Kanata from here. Our other son lives in Ottawa "in the Glebe". We enjoy our visits there.
Still kicking myself for missing the Springsteen concert at Scotiabank Place two years back.
After what happened when the Colts played them in the regular season, they better hope they beat them.

Wow! Over 1000 posts in one month. We sure like to "talk" a lot. LOL!
Sorry I haven't been around much the past few days. I missed this place. I have been at a professional development workshop. It was interesting, but I would rather be with my kids in the classroom.
I have so many posts to catch up on. I'm not sure I will get around to it. Let me just say I hope you all are doing well. You all are great friends.

Indeed, my friend. Recall back in '04 when we had 1,217 post for the whole year and we thought we were doing well? Now, we could pass that in less than a month. Incredible!
And speaking of incredible, look how far along our count has progressed:

We are now under 3 weeks away from the 1/4 Season Milestone!
Cold but sunny here in Raleigh at this hour where the thermometer on my back deck reads 37 degrees.
This is supposed to be our dry island day in an othewise 5 day stretch of rain. Kind of like the eye of a hurricane. A brief respite when I can get some outdoor work done!

BTW - there is a possibility I will not be able to get on the board tomorrow morning. My computer has been in a state of decline for some time now, with an apparent virus or worm of some sort eating away at it from the inside. I have a major overhaul planned for tomorrow morning. If it goes well, I'll be on to post the Sunday count. If I am not here by noon, could I get a volunteer to be in standby mode so we won't have a count break?
