I have a few friends with young ones that have been in and out of the hospital the last few weeks. Glad she's on the mend.
 
Made....new show on Showtime...Inside Nascar....watching it now and it's pretty good! You watched it?

I seen this...congrats! I agree Hockey is definitely Canada's game...My ex used to play hockey in Canada for fun on the weekends.

I just got a call from my daughter. My 6 month old granddaughter is at the hospital. She was running a fever last night and they were unable to bring it down. They took her to the ER at 2 am and they are still having trouble bringing down her fever there and here it is almost 8:00 am. Kids and babies worry me so much when they are sick. Especially with babies when they cannot tell you what is wrong. Please say a prayer.

So sorry to hear this. Keeping the little one in my thoughts and prayers. It always worries me too when my d/d runs fever, she usually runs really high fevers and it scares me to death. I watch over her like a Mama Bear.

I have seen them advertise it but I don't get showtime. I may have to check and see how much more it is a month.

Hopefully it will be the USA and Canada playing for the gold. I think it may be a repeat of sunday though with the USA coming out on top!!!!!cheesy
 
I wish I was a weather forecaster. On the 6 o'clock news they said that we were just going to get flurries overnight with no acculmation. By 9 o'oclock we already had a inch of snow. So on the 11 o'clock news now they are saying that we could get 3 inches. I think they are just guessing at this point.

My favorite son has a cold and the flu. Making him a big pot of home made chicken soup. (that cures everything!) He is keeping himself busy playing games on his DDS and watching TV.

Sounds like many of us are dealing with sick loved ones. I hope that things are going better for everyone.
My hubby is still dealing with his head cold and has decided to stay home today...he just can't get any sleep (and neither can I, really) due to all the sneezing and nose-blowing and coughing...you know the drill.
I'm going to make a pot of chicken soup today...warm us both up and make us feel better. It's so grey and glum outside today that we both need cheering up!
Let's hope it all passes very soon for everyone and that we're all back to normal asap!!

I'm not sure there is any other profession out there to be so wrong, so often and not get fired. In fact, some of them get paid quite well to be so wrong. At least in St. Louis, that is!

Well, it is 5:45am on my day off of work - but here I am awake and getting ready to head in and work anyways. Its my boss' last day out of town and so hopefully I'll be able to take tomorrow or Saturday off to make up for it. We shall see. I have a list of projects that need to be done today so that he can see just how awesome we are when he is gone...although, I suppose if we really were quite that awesome, I wouldn't have put them off till the last day before his return! hahahaha!

Been a busy day at work - much busier than is normal for this time of year. I don't know why, but I'm certainly not going to complain! When we're busy like this, it reminds me of Christmas time and the crowds we deal with at the mall. One of my Hispanic co-workers and I were rocking out to "Feliz Navidad" today LOL. Too funny :)

I remember how that song was my son's favorite when he was 3 years old. He would sing, "Feliz Navi-BOP!" I wasn't a big fan of that song until he started singing it, now I like it. He is almost 20 years old now and gets embarassed when I sing it the way he use to sing it. cheesy
