Spent some time this afternoon selecting daylily bulbs for my garden. There were such pretty colors to choose from, and I got some of each. Now I just have to wait until the frosts are gone......

I buzzed out of town as planned and got back a couple hours ago. I got my shopping done and have most of everything for the baby shower. My sisters baby is due next month. This will be her third child and another son. She was hoping for a little girl but will take what the good Lord gives her. As long as he is happy and healthy that's all that matters. I can't wait to hold him. Other than that life is good! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!cheesy

That's the way it is for us right now in the 5th grade. There's so much homework that we don't really have a family life. It's just do homework, eat supper, do homework, take a bath, do homework, go to bed. It really is a shame.

You can Thank "No child left behind" for this.... the pressure on schools is insane...

I just let Neo and Raisen outside. Looks like it's going to be a nice day out not a cloud in the sky this morning and no wind. I can't hardly believe it. Looks like the temp. will be about 51 out. Not sure what my plans are for today. D/D stayed with her little cousin last night and they will go to my other brothers place for my nephews 2nd birthday party this afternoon. I will be working all weekend and it will be a "garden show" there! We also got the chicks, ducks and geese in. Ahhhhh! We are going to be so busy today!

Another weekend is upon us.
Around here, it's a nice, calm, bright, sunny morning with the promise of 50's this afternoon and 60's tomorrow. What a nice change of pace!
(We have started out cold again, however, and it was 29 when I got up. Currently, we stand at 38.)

Now down to SINGLE DIGITS to the 1/3 Season Milestone March 15!

A garden show sounds fun! What kind of cake are you making today Christmasstar?

Looks like a dirt bike, but I am not to happy with how it turned out. I do not have a steady enough hand for painting the details. Will have to look to joining with someone who is good at that. I kind of just blured them on instead. Not sure if the lady was happy with it as she did not say much when she picked it up.

Hi everyone!!

I thought of you all yesterday as I was driving through my neighborhood and spotted a live Christmas tree in someone's trash!!! On March 4! Now THAT's some serious Christmas spirit! I couldn't help but giggle when I saw it!

Wow....I have to agree that is some Christmas spirit.
