Good morning everyone.... Had a pretty busy weekend. Got our veggie/fruit garden planted. Still have a few packs of seed to plant next weekend but over all it is mostly done. May pick up a couple more tomato plants next week.

Hubby has a softball game tonight so the kids and I are going to cheer him on. We missed his first game as it did not start until late.

It's the last week of school, and we're all looking forward to that. No more homework and studying for tests for a few months. It sounds petty, but they have so much homework that we don't have much of a family life during the week. We're looking forward to the break.

It's the last week of school here to. There are some districts that have a couple of make up days next week but most are out this week.

It looks like it is going to be rainy week here. The only day without rain in the forecast is wednesday. I have a conference call for work this morning and then I need to run to the grocery store. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be busy with the grandkids today. Last week my grandson and I made a car with a great big cardboard box. It has a paper plate for a steering wheel, the cardboard wheels have foil on it for rims and it even has a stereo in it (just drew a picture of a stereo in the box). He thinks it's really cool getting in it. My cat likes it too, he slept in it all weekend! cheesy

Got to think of something fun and clever to do today while they are here.

A beautiful day is in store for Ottawa! We are currently at 17C and have highs of 24C in the forecast with no wind!! Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s throughout the week. That is mid to up 70sF, which is warm!! I had a nice celebration on Saturday. Due to the fact that I was out of town for the past few weekends, I did not get to celebrate my birthday. A bunch of my friends and I celebrated on Saturday night with margaritas. It was a real good time!

Unfortunately, Kim was sick yesterday. She came back from Cornwall on Saturday and was not feeling well. It certainly worsened yesterday. She contracted the 24-hour flu from her mom and a few other family members back home. To make her feel better - and celebrate the halfway to the Season mark - we watched Home Alone 2. It was a real good time!

Well, I have some job hunting to do! Have a great day, everyone!!

Good Morning all!


Today is the second day of my "weekend," back to the grind tomorrow. I will enjoy the day today, but it makes it tough because the only day I get to spend with my wife and family together is Sunday, shes back to work today and I really won't get to spend much time with her until next Sunday due to our work schedules. Big things coming up in the next month and a half, my sister is coming up from N.C. for a visit, and she is pregnant with her second child. We don't get to see her that often so we are looking forward to her visit. We are planning a surprise 60th birthday party for my father-in-law, so that should be fun.

Well I am done with my conference call for work. It would be nice if my boss would read over the new paperwork before he has the conference call. Instead we have to sit there as he just reads the paperwork that gets sent out to all of the sales reps. If we have a question about it he can never answer it because he is just seeing it all for the first time. I guess I shouldn't complain though since they are paying me for 2 hours to sit there and listen to him.

That's OK! I didn't even have time celebrate it! Everyone, including on MMC, seems to have been very busy over the past few weeks!
