Christmas Countdown - 2010

It is a humid day here in central indy. The storms have all moved through and now the heat and humidty is coming in. I worked for a couple of hours this morning around the east side of indy and now I am home for the day. I am planning on spending some time this afternoon trying to come up with some easy ornament to make with my nieces this summer. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got me to thinking that we will not be here since we are going back to the coast to complete what we couldn't, owing to our abortive efforts over the Memorial Day weekend. That in turn reminded me of the need to make another countdown volunteer request for the mornings of Saturday and Sunday.

I can do the Sunday count but not sure about the Saturday one. Maybe someone else can take the Saturday count?

Hello everyone! Tomorrow I have the day off. I'm exhausted. But it's good, I think it'll help me lose some weight. I hope everyone is well! I'm watching the Blackhawks! Tonight could be the night!

Good evening everyone!

My husband and I booked a train trip to Chicago next month. It will be an overnight trip so we got a roomette. I love to travel by train! We use to travel all over the USA when the kids were little and always got our own room to sleep in. It has been 9 years since the last time I traveled by train and looking forward to going again!

My wife and I went to Chicago last June, it is a great city we walked miles and miles, we only got to be in the city for 24 hours but we went to the top of the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), the restaurant in the top of the John Hancock Tower, and Navy Pier. We look forward to going back there some day. I hope you enjoy the trip.

Good Morning MMC !

My fridge died, so some good hearted soul brought me another one to use...needed cleaning and a new seal, but it does work.(it is getting warmer again so a working fridge is a must have!) I am having someone come to fix mine as it is a fairly new one (about a year old), but they do not know when they can come since they are really busy right now.
So my kitchen is rather hard to get around in with all those units in it. Hopefully they come before the weekend.

Oh that's horrible!!! Hopefully they get it fixed asap. Food is expensive enough without having to toss any that spoiled and rebuy!

Well, yet another sunny morning here in Raleigh where we stand at 78 degrees. It's supposed to hit 90 by this afternoon, so at long last I'll be able to try out the new A/C.

The count goes on:
Days to the Season: 156
Days to Christmas Day: 198
Less than 2 1/2 weeks away from the half way point on our journey to Christmas Day 2010.
(Can it be that close already??)

OK.
Minta's worth a mint and we have it made with Made.
Between the two of them, there should be no break in the steady progress of our countdown.

Good morning all! Im having a busy day at work this morning..just wanted to drop in and say hello! Hopefully I can catch up later on. I had a nice day off yesterday..it was cool and rainy but today its going to be 90 and sunny, hot, humid! This weekend will be hot and sunny also..it will be nice because we will spend it at the community pool cheesy

Chicago is a great city and taking a train to get there sounds like a lot of fun!!!!!!cheesy
