Christmas Countdown - 2010

He proceeded to cry from 7:30-9:15ish. The kids then tortured the kittens so much I had to lock the kittens in a room to keep them away, and they were huddled all together for a while. I took my shower my 5 y/o released all the kittens from the room and one was missing for 30 min. found her sleeping in a hidden area. Fed them lunch early, so my 2 y/o could go to his nap earlier than usual. 17 more days to go!

Holy Crap sounds like you have had a crazy day. Sometimes you just gotta find a good movie they like and put it on..I know TV isnt the best option but sometimes you need a little break cheesy. I hope your afternoon gets better!

That IS funny! Have a great time at the beach. It's been pretty hot & humid here for the past couple weeks, but I'm a little inland. The coastal breeze ought make for a pleasant trip.

My sister and her family rented a cabin for all of next week and my mom is going to go down with them. I rented my own cabin for wednesday and thursday night next week. I plan on leaving early wednesday morning and stopping on the way down to call on some of my accounts. That way I can claim my mileage down and back on my expense report. :wink: I should be back home sometime late friday night.

We usually do a Labor Day weekend in different state park cabins in our area. They have great places!

Dude! It sounds like you've got your hands full. I remember those days. It's hard to believe right now, but you'll miss the excitement one day.

I remembered having crazy days with my kids when they were little. Just when I thought that was over I get grandkids! At least with grandkids I get time to myself when their parents get off work. I hope your day gets better!

Good evening MMCers

My day did get better, LC (2 y/o) just was cranky today. Our friend called us to let us know her cat is very ill, she rushed him to the animal hospital, they are seeing what they can do but they believe it is an aggressive cancer and they will be surprised if he makes it through the night. So I feel bad for what her family are going through, they have a 6 and a 1 y/o.
I hope tomorrow will be a better day.

When I was young we use to always rent one of the cabins for a week every summer and we always loved it. As we got older we always had summer jobs so we stopped doing it. My sister decided that my nieces were old enough now to enjoy it so she talked her husband into booking one for the whole week. My first plan was to take my tent down and stay at a campsite for a couple of nights so I could hang out with them but they wanted $40 a night for the campsite or $50 a night for the cabin. So for $10 dollars more a night I figured I would just stay in a cabin too.
