We've finally settled on a plan for our extended mountian trip. We'll leave on Sat, June 26 early, and come home on Monday, July 5. Ten days ought to make me feel better, huh?

Beautiful day here today.. we're going to head out for a walk after lunch and take it easy today.. I'm tired, as usual!! I guess that goes without saying with a 2 year old and being 30 weeks pregnant!!

Take naps and rest whenever you can! Having 2 is a lot different then 1 but soo much fun..just tiring of course! I hope you enjoy this beautiful day..its beautiful here too but Im stuck inside working!

Good Morning all!

I woke up to my neck and back hurting. Yay! :-? I have a very heavy 10 month old grandbaby I have to lift but will get assistance from my husband before he leaves work and my son while he is here. She is really good so she doesn't demand to be held but still have to lift her from time to time. It will be a good day no matter what because I said so! cheesy

Good afternoon, everyone!

It appears that I missed this morning. My bosses are back and we had a few meetings to organize a few things. Thankfully, I did all the things asked of me during their absence and we were able to figure out where we are on certain projects. Moreover, I was informed today that my contract had been extended until August 27th!!!! They had asked to extend me before and I agreed. This was as long as I could go to Europe for two weeks, of course. Therefore, it seems as if I will get my two weeks vacation and return to a very nice and comfortable job. I'm thrilled!

We seem to be in for some humidity in Ottawa. It starts this afternoon and should last until sometime well into next week. Possibly into the 90s with the humidex this weekend. I can live with a couple days like that!

The apartment that Kim and I looked at last night was fairly nice. The secondary bedroom was fairly small, however. Unfortunately, the secondary bedroom would be needed for our roommate Mike. Kim decided to keep looking. As of right now, we are assuming that I will not be here this fall due to Teachers College in North Bay. However, I will be doing my placement here, so I'll stay for about a month or two throughout the school year. I'll repay them somehow. Then, I will just move in afterward.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Thursday. 9 more days left until the halfway mark!! The weather wherever you are best be as beautiful as it is here. Enjoy yourselves!!

Kandice´s stomach is fine again....seems to have been a 24 hour bug...she´s playing with her friend right now...unfortunately now my mom is sick....caught a bad, bad cold

Happy Thursday! My Son's doctors appointment went good on Tuesday and at this time there is nothing that needs to be done, there doesnt seem to be any damage! Im so thankful! I hope everyone has a wondeful afternoon!

I would love to spend ten days in the mountains. I am going to settle for a few nights in a cabin at one our state parks next week. There are no mountains there but they are some nice hills. My sister and her family rented a cabin for all of next week and my mom is going to go down with them. I rented my own cabin for wednesday and thursday night next week. I plan on leaving early wednesday morning and stopping on the way down to call on some of my accounts. That way I can claim my mileage down and back on my expense report. :wink: I should be back home sometime late friday night.

It has been a pretty kicked back day hear. I have been digging a few things out to take on my mini vacation next week and trying to plan a menu so I know what food I need to go buy. I told my sister that I may just come over to their cabin and eat with them. She told me I could if I wanted to so I might just take her up on it. I also need to do so some laundry today. Good afternoon all.


Today has been a nightmare day, the kids have been unbelievable. It started first thing this morning when my 2 y/o got a Sharpie and drew on the back of the couch, (the couch is only 6 months old) I was talking to my wife and he went into her purse and got into her lipstick got it all over his hands leaving a handprint on the front of the couch (got it out with Resolve) I wiped it off his hands and he went over to my wife and he had some on his shirt and got it on her shirt as she was about to leave for work, Quick change she left I don't think she was late. He proceeded to cry from 7:30-9:15ish. The kids then tortured the kittens so much I had to lock the kittens in a room to keep them away, and they were huddled all together for a while. I took my shower my 5 y/o released all the kittens from the room and one was missing for 30 min. found her sleeping in a hidden area. Fed them lunch early, so my 2 y/o could go to his nap earlier than usual. 17 more days to go!

Not bad at all! I found a really cute Mickey Mouse Christmas train (my youngest Son loves Pluto and my oldest son loves trains) for $20 regular $50.. Im debating if I should get it.. but Im thinking I should!
