My new neighbor in the building behind mine had spent 3 days working on his car and still couldn't get it started. My great aunt felt sorry for him and told him to come over and ask me if I would go help him figure out what is wrong. So when he got home from school today I went outside with him and 2 of his friends to look at it. I already knew that his fuel pump was bad from what he told me last night but I wanted to check it out for sure today. So I ran a pressure test on it that showed no pressure. You could hear that the pump was still kicking on so I knew it had power going to it but just to make sure I also checked to make sure that it had power at the connector. Him and his friends still didn't believe that it was the fuel pump so I unhooked the gas line coming out of the tank and had them try to start the car and no gas came out. They still didn't believe me so I gave up on them and came home. I have been working on cars most of my life and even went to a trade school for it. I graduated from it with honors and then worked in a shop on frieghtliners for a year. I was ASE certified for the last 10 years but I finally decided to let it drop this year. I kinda know what I am doing when it comes to fixing cars and semis. The worse part of it is that all 3 of these kids are going to the same trade school that I went to and right now they are just standing there staring at the car. I just don't understand why people ask for your help and then don't want to believe you when you tell them what is wrong?

I hear ya Made! I try to tell my wife all the time the right thing and she just ignores me! Well....sometimes I'm right!

Well, they are talking about the heatwave we are having and now they are saying that it's going to get worse. Next week, the lowest daytime temp will be 98 with high humidity! Holy smokes! Yall stay cool....

I just don't understand why people ask for your help and then don't want to believe you when you tell them what is wrong?

I AGREE! That will happen to me sometimes at work. They will ask for advice about pet care or other issues besides animals. I will tell them something that really works and I have even tried it and IT WORKS, then they will still debate and will not take my advice. I am thinking, WHY DID YOU ASK??? On other occasions I give them advice then they turn to my manager, ask the same thing and he will give the same exact answer I just gave. It's like they didn't believe me. I love when my manager backs me up, lol. Overall, majority of our customers are great! What I mentioned is rare occasions but frustrating.

Wow that is hot!!!!! I was complaining when I saw the extended forecast for here and it is only saying 93 degrees as the high for next week. Stay safe friend!!!!!!!!

Been in the insurance business nearly 30 years. There's always someone who just won't believe me when I tell them their policy doesn't cover some particular item, even when it's right there on their form in black and white.

kandice is sick again...this time she caught a stomach flu...poor thing has been throwing up a lot....it´s better now, but she´s still crying cos of the stomach flu....and she ´s laying down the couch all by herself....something totally unlikely for her...so that shows how bad she really feels

Aww. I hope she gets well soon. It's so hard when your little ones are sick. It always made me sick with worry.

My son almost died at birth and then was put in the hospital at 6 months old and almost died then due to a doctors mistake. I am now real nervous if any of my kids or grandkids get a slight fever.

Countdown to vacation is on full bore now, 18 days and counting. I feel so burnt out from work right now, I have to will myself in at this point. Relaxing while JP is at pre-school and LC is napping, I am on here posting and watching the original Bad News Bears.

I have been looking for a Santa for my outdoor display since the end of Christmas last year. I woke up to my neck and back hurting. Yay! :-? I have a very heavy 10 month old grandbaby I have to lift but will get assistance from my husband before he leaves work and my son while he is here. She is really good so she doesn't demand to be held but still have to lift her from time to time. It will be a good day no matter what because I said so! cheesy

I hope your neck and back start to feel better..I know the feeling about a heavy 10 month old lol but my Mom (who watches him) aches more then me! How much does your Granddaughter weigh? Dylan is about 23 lbs at his last doctors appointment!
