Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Morning my Christmas friends! I hope you are all doing well today.

We are getting ready for our train trip. We leave next week. I have not traveled by train since 2001 and cannot wait to go! I think I already mentioned that we will travel by train overnight to Chicago, stay a night there and then travel overnight coming back. We have a bedroom onboard the train. When you get a bedroom all meals in the dining car are free. If anyone here has not been on an overnight train trip, I highly recommend it. You don't get anywhere fast but that's the fun! There is so much to see.

Hey guys! Slept a little late this morning, but not on purpose. Stayed up late, dogs woke me up around 5 for about 30 min, and then I dozed back off only to wake at 11:15.

Going to get the house good and picked up, work in the yard for a little while, and then cook supper tonight. Don't know if I want to grill or cook inside....we will see. Probably won't be back today, so I will see all tomorrow!

I know all about dogs waking one up !!! Hope you are having a very nice weekend and that you catch up on some rest !!

It is a beautiful sunny Saturday and I am breathing great again !! Thank God for the wonders of medicine !! I am just getting ready to have a low fat snack and may share it with my canine children !!

now my stomach bug is gone....but kandice got the bronchitis again...poor thing...in the warm weather...we wanted to go swim today...of course we couldn´t...and she was mighty sad

Hi there !! I know we have not met and I am kind of new...I just wanted to say I hope Kandice feels better soon !!! I have been battling a flare of asthma myself so I deeply sympathize.....Hope you have a good rest of the weekend and good week.

I think I'm going to throw on some Christmas tunes & clean up my apartment. My friend came by with her Godson & needless to say it looks like a monsoon came through my abode lol!

I just wanted to say goodnight to my MMC Family. For once, I am tired AND relaxed. Tomorrow (Sunday) starts my work week. I am at last breathing well and drowsy. I hope all have a safe and peaceful night. I have cataract surgery on Thursday this week so any prayers will be gladly accepted. It is a minor surgery and I am on the young side for it but still a little apprehensive.

In the hospital tonight, keeping watch over Mom. She has been in the hospital seven of the last nine weeks -- a tough stretch. She is afraid to fall asleep but I promised her I would stay awake and listen to see that she is still breathing. I'm pleased to say that Mom still has the same snore I remember from when I was a child and it gives me a measure of comfort here tonight.

I would love to take a train trip out to see my sister in seattle. When I helped move her and my brother in law out I looked in to taking one back and it was a 5 day trip. I didn't have that kind of time right then. I would still love to do it though. So I have thought about maybe taking one out and then staying for a week and then flying home.
