Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!!! Today is a day of rest for me. It was an exciting weekend but also a tiring one. I am going to try and catch up on some laundry today and I will also probably spend some time cleaning out my bedroom closet. Since I went to the race yesterday I am going to fix my christmas in july meal today. I bought a turkey tenderloin to cook and a bag of potatoes to make homemade mashed potatoes. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Tuesday...finally some nicer weather here. It was still hot yesterday around 90 degrees but low humidity. All week is suppose to be about the same. It feels a lot better then 100 degrees with high humidity! Have a great morning/afternoon friends. Think Christmas...only 150 days right? My countdown on this page at work doesnt ever load!

Right about now, Crown is probably waking up and enjoying the view of the ocean, but most of all, spending time with his father. Unfortunately, everyone at MMC is stuck with me as a replacement for the countdown! Kidding. But, I know we all hope that Crown is certainly having a great time.

As we continue to move further away from the wonderful weekend that was Christmas in July, the days are shortening and the countdown is lowering.
Let's see just how log it is now!
Days to the Season: 109
Days to Christmas Day: 151
We are now in single digits - sort of - to the 100 Days to the Christmas Season Milestone!! Of course, tomorrow we will also be half way through the 100's as we begin our descend to the 100 Days to Christmas Day Milestone on Wednesday! So much is going on and it is only the end of July!

I hope you enjoyed the count. Tomorrow may be a day to celebrate at the Shispering Pines. Crown may not be there, but it is on Holiday and Binger to find out if he brought Carl with him on the trip!

Morning all. Well we made it through another monday. Man they come up quick! Im watching a new series based off of Stephen Kings short story The Colorado Kid. Its called Haven. Pretty good so far. Bought another Christmas gift! A BIG fridge calender for my Wife. Its a Mom calender with stickers and stuff. She loved the last one. Just after getting the a/c fixed on the van we are getting a strange thumping noise under the right front side of the van. Only when we hit bumps though. Hoping it wont be a lot to fix because we just paid out for the a/c. Never ends eh? Anyone end up taping qvc Christmas in July? Have a good day! 150 days left!!!!!

Good morning... man miss a few days from here and you get so behind on trying to catch up on the new posts. Had a busy few days at home and our daughter started cheerleading practice. She will be cheering for the midget football league. Another sign that fall is so close at hand.

Our kids started their wish list over the weekend. They each have birthdays coming up so we will not be buying any more gifts for them until after their birthdays to avoid duplicates.

Good morning, everyone.

Ahhh, I just feel miserable today. This pregnancy is starting to get old and I just can't get in a good mood. My patience is wearing thin and my 2 year old won't stop WHINING! AHHHHH!!!

Hubby went back to work today after working on the new house since Friday.. apparently there was varnish from the 1940's on the hardwood floors and it was very, very difficult to remove. He worked SO hard and it's almost done. I was panicking thinking that we'd never get the floors stained by Sunday when we move in, but my amazing uncle hired a handyman for us to come help my husband, so it looks like it might get done after all! What a relief and a blessing.

Today is less humid and I actually saw temps in the 80s (woo hoo!!) in the next few days in the forecast... it hasn't really been below 90 in weeks! And it's supposed to be "sunny & nice" on Sunday when we FINALLY move in so phewwwww, how nice!

Ok, off to try to be as calm as can be... I hope I can acquire some more patience as the day goes on!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We are STILL painting things on the house! Dang, I'd hoped we'd be through by now. Now I have four new porch rockers to assemble. Grrrr. Will it never end?!!?

Ok, so much for my attempt to sound irritated. I've really been proud of the changes the remodel brought, but I wish it would end soon.

I woke up to amazing weather this morning! The grandkids came over, we ate breakfast and went for a walk before the heat got here. I even left the dirty dishes on the table to get outside. I told the kids to HURRY and get outside before it gets hot! cheesy Good thing we did because it's warming up now. The weather is usually so miserable here in the summer that it's too hot to go out before the sun is up.

We might go to Dave and Busters this afternoon. It's a video game arcade place that you can win prizes, if you never heard of it. They actually have nice stuff to win!

One year ago I was in your shoes! You will forget about it by next year this time cheesy but I know the last month of my pregnancy went by sooo slow because it was so very hot and humid. Try to stay inside (I know its hard with a 2 year old because my oldest son was 2 years old last summer also!). Goodluck my friend!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's another warm day in Ottawa. Humidex should take us to the 100F mark. I'm not looking forward to going outside. I was a little busy this morning but I spent a lot of time refreshing the UPS Tracking Information for my Macbook. I really hope it arrives today... Mainly because I don't want Mike to have to hang around for another day. Although we missed the first delivery, the notice said that they will return today. They better!!

Not much else going on. Gym and then practice tonight. Hope everyone is enjoying their Tuesday.

I love Michael's! I try to go every Friday on my lunch break this timeof year because its right down the street from my work and I love to look at all the new Fall stuff as it comes out. Also I usually get a 40% off coupon each week on one item that comes in our newspaper cheesy so I dont spend too much money lol

I love the 40% off coupons!!!! I use them to stock up on the chocolate disks to make my candy with at christmas.cheesy

My dinner turned out great!!!!!! The turkey was delicious and the baked corn and mashed potatoes turned out perfectly. The only complaint I got was that I made stove top instead of homemade stuffing.

Im glad your dinner turned out so well! I like stove top and make it sometimes through out the year because my boys like it also..BUT its not the same as homemade stuffing..thats for sure! I was lucky that my Grandma came over for my dinner on Sunday and volunteered to make her delicious stuffing cheesy

Good afternoon everyone!!!!! I went and worked for awhile this morning and then I did some Christmas shopping. I picked a couple of batman figures for my nephew and a Kai Lan play set for one of my nieces. I also got online this morning and ordered 2 books of Christmas stamps from the USPS website to put back for the card exchange. I will probably order 2 more next week when I get paid. This afternoon I need to finish up some laundry and do some ironing. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Macbook Pro arrived!!! Now, I just have to wait to play around on it. After the gym and practice, I will not return home until about 9:45. I guess there is always tomorrow evening!
