Wow guys! Amazing, simply amazing! 100 days until the season. It seems like last week we were ringing in the season (when my power went out, of course) and Christmas Eve soon followed. I just can't get over it. We are almost there. Just think of all the things that will happen in the next 100 days. School will be back in session, Halloween, our first Christmas gifts will be bought, our decorations will be up, and we will be getting ready for Thanksgiving. Gosh...I can hardly wait. The best part is that we get to do it all together! I'm excited.....

Yes Folks.
In case you were not here yesterday and missed it, we all piled through the 100-day Season window and are now moving along DOUBLE-DIGIT Lane toward Christmas Season 2010!
Days to the Season: 99
Days to Christmas Day: 141
(Wow! Don't those 2 digits look nice?)

Rain, rain, rain!
Several nights in a row with heat and humidity to follow the next day.
At least the predicted temps are down a bit.
Currently, we stand at 76 here in the capital city.

OK, Folk!
Weekend Eve is here! Get ready for our first weekend in the double-digit zone.
(Hey! Might be wise to think about a little early Christmas shopping, eh?)

time is going so fast! All the stuff I said I would get done by this time is still not done. So I guess I will just have to have fun doing it all in double time, while singing Christmas songs!

It appears that it might! No chance of rain with a high of 23C (73F). Perfect moving weather, if you ask me!
 
Good morning, everyone!

Lots of packing last night! Kim, Mike and I packed for about four hours. We threw out a lot of stuff, too! We have about five or six boxes ready to go. We still have to pack the bathrooms and a few things from the bedrooms. We booked our U-Haul yesterday. The most convenient place was sold out for Saturday, so we had to go to a place that is about five minutes further. Not bad at all.

Overall, it's a decent day in Ottawa. The wind is up and has pushed out all the humidity. It should not return until Sunday at the earliest! And, of course, we will be all moved in by then.

Gee, those double digits certainly look impressive! 99 Days to the Christmas Season! Signs of fall will soon be popping up everywhere. I overheard a co-worker say that she spotted some leaves on the ground today. It could be from the wind, but the fact that they are making way for the next season is a start! Well, I am only here for two more hours and have a bit of work to do. I should get on it.

Have a great Friday, everyone. The weekend is almost upon us!

I actually am looking forward to watching it because my Bengals are in it, I know it is a preseason game, but I don't get many chances to watch the Bengals up here in Patriots land, and I hate the Patriots. Who Dey, Who Dey...
 
Well it is 11am and my niece just got up. I can't believe that she slept in that late. I don't have much planned for today. I will probably spend most of it kicked back watching nascar while my mom entertains my niece. Her dad is supposed to stop and pick her up on his way home from work so she will be here until about 4pm. I should have picked up some craft kits at hobby lobby yesterday for her to do but I didn't think about it. I will have to go back this weekend and get some since I have to watch her again on tuesday while my sister takes my youngest niece over to the childrens hospital for a check up. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Good morning everybody!

Happy Friday another week pretty much by the books. My older son is sleeping over his Grammy's house tonight, so my wife has an evening with the 2 y/o, she doesn't think it has only been him and her together hanging out. I will be working so she may take him out for ice cream and such. It is only supposed to be about 83 degrees today and in the 40's tonight Woo hooo. This weekend starts our busy next three weekends, we will be going to Six Flags New England on Monday, I haven't been there since the mid-1990's when the park was known as Riverside/Great Escape so we are looking forward to that.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I got up early this morning and opened my father-in-law's store for him while he's on his fishing trip. It wasn't too bad, but I sure was hungry after cooking all those bacon & egg, and sausage & egg biscuits. After the morning girls came in, I ran home and make eggs & sausage for myself!

There's another heat advisory for today, but when I leave here I'm going back to the store, so I'm in the a/c all day!

The Super Dave Osborne Show! So I'm not going to be a fool this time around. I'm recording the videos with my tv tuner card and encoding them so I have them in video format. Woo. Well I have to leave for work in about an hour (booooo) BUT the days are just dwindling down to that time of the year again! Today is my 3 year anniversary! Wife and I were married in 2007. Happy Anniversary! 2007 was a good year for me too..my oldest Son was born and I was married also (September 14th).

The train was late getting to the station - so I was a little late getting home this evening. Boys...standing in line waiting for the train in this heat and humidity - I was really feeling ill! I'm okay now though. Home, safe and sound in air conditioning!

Oh...bring on Autumn! I think one of the reason I really enjoy Autumn is because I know then that Christmas is SUPER close!!! The cool, crisp days/evenings help me think about Christmas things even more!!!
