Well, Labor Day has come and gone and we are having an early cool spell for the St. Louis area, so I just can't help it - the Christmas spirit is beginning to just burst in me! I love it :) And to come check the countdown and see 65 days till the season and only 107 till the big day...its coming!!! Woo hoo!!!

We opened a new Chick-fil-A here in the area last night, so I was out until almost 2 am doing stuff to prepare for Grand Opening this morning. I'm so sleepy! Maybe a pumpkin spice latte would help perk me back up. We're headed downtown to the hospital for a full day's worth of tests for my hubby. Its always a long day, but afterward we are taking ourselves out to dinner at Maggiano's. That is one of our favorite restaurants. It is on a little shopping boulevard that is lined with white Christmas lights all year round. It just makes my heart so happy :)

Anyways, have a good day everyone!

My wife told me today that we needed to start our Halloween cleaning. I think mentally if I tell myself it's Christmas cleaning, that it will go much smoother.

I'm trying to figure out a way to make some Christmas lights look ok for Halloween. Mostly just strings of lights around various parts of the house but it would be so much easier to do when I can feel my fingers, rather than waiting for November.

You own a Chick-fil-A?!? I love that sandwich! Tell me where and I'm there!

I hope everything's ok.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've been busy working, working, working. Baby needs a new pair of shoes...and tuition. In the evenings and on weekends I operate a sign rental business. I had to setup two signs quickly yesterday for a festival this weekend. Instead of putting "9AM to 6 PM", I put "6 AM to 9 PM". they are screaming about it this morning, but it has to wait for my lunch break before I can change it. The way the signs are setup, not everyone can make a change. Oh, well.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

6am is not so early, I get up at that time every day!

Good afternoon, everyone!

My schedule is changing every day. These classes have some horrible times. Thankfully, there are a few breaks when I can get online. Nice to see everyone is excited for fall! For the few that have mentioned it - "Christmas cleaning" certainly does sound much better than fall! Much more inspirational.

Although there is not a whole lot to do in North Bay, I enjoy it here. The people in my program are awesome and we all seem to have a really good time together. They will definitely help speed the process toward the wonderful Christmas Season! We are almost in the double digits of September and closing in on the 100 Days to the Big Day. Fall is almost in full effect here in North Bay. Leaves are falling, but not many trees have changed quite yet. Give it a few weeks and there will be some beautiful fall scenery! I can't let it go to waste either - plenty of photos will be taken!

Well, that's about all I have for an update. I look forward to returning to posting throughout the days. The weekend is only a day and a half away! All the best, everyone!! Have a fantastic Thursday!

I just handed my grandson a box full of fall decorations and told him to put them wherever he wants them. He has ended up putting almost all of them on one table. He put a scarecrow on a table and said he needed friends. Now we have a table full of scarecrows, jack-o-laterns and turkeys hanging out together. He is calling them mommy, daddy and kids.

That sounds great, Brent! I always appreciate your optimism. Lemons to lemonade, eh?

Looking forward to those pics!

Here is what my 4 year old grandson did with decorating. I think it looks pretty good and I will keep it like that for a little while. This is not all of my decorations. I will get some more out later.

another sure sign it is fall, we are having hot chicken soup and homemade cheese biscuits for lunch cheesy

Our leaves just die and fall. We don't get all the pretty colors like you all do up north. They just slightly change here. I can't wait to see the pictures!

Hey.......everybody makes mistakes !! Good grief. They need to put on their adult panties and just deal with it !! Have a good day, Brad !

Good afternoon!

Here it is the 7th day of school and JP has got pink eye, so he missed today and will miss tomorrow, I had already forgotten how much harder it is to watch the two of them together since all they do is antagonize each other.
I'll be lucky if I leave for work with hair left.

Have a good day!

That sounds like me when I went to school. I always wanted to have good attendance and it got ruined because I always caught something within a week after starting school. I hope his eye clears up quickly!
