Just got back from Toys R Us, I could have spent a ton of money there but had to stay focused on what I was there for. Great sale on the Imaginext toys got Toy Story for LC and Batman for JP. So Christmas shopping is in full tilt. WOOHOO!
LC is watching the Rankin-Bass Christmas Classics Sing Along DVD he is obsessed with Holly Jolly Christmas lately.

Wow...you have inspired me to get started. I am shopping for Leapfrog/Leapster stuff for Kayla. I will have to go to the website and see what they have. They had manufacturer coupons in sundays paper for leapfrog stuff so I may have to go the actual store again, which I do not mind at all. I love Toy stores on any day except Black Friday!! cheesy

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend! We were quite busy this weekend with my sister's wedding.. it was beautiful. She and my new brother-in-law had such a great time, so I'm so glad! I spent most of the night inside with Noel because it was a bit chilly for a 3 week old, but it was fun, regardless!

Hey all!! I have been away too long & I have missed you all! I had a post all ready to send last week & I'm not sure what happened but I got side tracked & never got it sent!

Hope you are all starting to enjoy the cooler temps? It has ben SO nice here lately - cool in the mornings & evenings - love it!! Supposed to get up to 93 though tomorrow! I'm not going to complain but I sure am enjoying the cooler temps!

I am off to a cook out at my brothers house, but I am going to do my best to check in with you all much more often. The greatest time of the year is just beginning! YIPPEE!!!

Good morning Christmas friends.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Mondays as much as possible, I will be heading out to Toys R Us in a little bit, they are having a HUGE sale on things we were looking to get for the boys for Christmas, so this will knock out a bunch of Christmas shopping at once for them.
I am still feeling lousy, and whats worse I can hear and feel my pulse in my ear, it is driving me nuts.

Good Morning Christmas Pals,

I didnt have a chance to get on the board much this weekend. Seems I am really putting stuff into high gear at home to get ready for the season. According to the count, there are only 54 days to the season and I am getting my house in order. Also, my son Kyle turned 18 on Saturday which was somewhat bittersweet for me. I just keep focusing on the fact, that although he will hold my hand for only a little while, he will hold my heart forever. I read that somewhere and it kinda really stuck with me and tugged at me all weekend. I was happy to see him reach this milestone in his life, but of course I shed a few tears in silence. Seems like yesterday when he was born. Well maybe a couple of years ago, but not 18 years ago!! So really thats how I spent my weekend.

I know how you feel. My youngest is 20 years old!

Thanks for sharing the pictures, judesmama. I really like the dresses! Sorry to hear about your parents. It is strange to hear that after living together for so long. My parents separated when I was seven and my mother has since re-married. It is tough, but I hope that your parents can find happiness somehow!

Good evening, everyone.

I write this as I am cooking supper. I have some perogies and potatoes on the go along with the rest of a roast that I made on Saturday. I am excited! Great to see that we are more than halfway through the 50s to Days to the Christmas Season!

Hopefully everyone enjoyed their weekend and work was not too hard to get back to. At least we are another week closer to Christmas. And, of course, this week not only brings us into fall, but also three months until Christmas. I think I may have to acquire a Christmas film and watch in celebration of the 25th. My movies are all back in Ottawa. If anyone has a suggestion, I would be glad to see if I can find it. Of course, I have many favourites, but maybe there is something out there I have not yet seen that I should.

Anyway, supper is ready. Have a great evening, everyone!
