Good evening all,
Home from work, winding down now. I am looking forward to my day off on Sunday right now. LC some how today broke the Frosty DVD and the DVD player when I was making his lunch, he come in and hands me the DVD and says its broken and it was cracked right down the side, go to put a DVD in for him and the DVD player won't work either I don't know if he was trying to put the DVD in to the player when it wasn't open or what but it is not working anymore. I now have to replace the Frosty DVD, but the good thing is we got a DVD player for Christmas a couple years back that is still in its box so I will bring that out tomorrow at some point to replace the broken one. If it's not one thing its another.
On a cheery note Edy's ice cream (Dreyers in other parts of the country) has its holiday flavors out Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, and Peppermint, and also Celestial tea has its Christmas Teas out: Candy Cane Lane, Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride, Sugar Plum

it´s crazy how close it is already....even tho it seems far away...it´s not...the next 6 weeks are goin to be passing by really, really quick...and we will see e uthe first christmas commercials....
btw Sabine...today I was in our local OBI (for the non-germans...it´s one of those huge stores where u can buy tools, flowers, fences all this home improvement things) and in the place where they used to sell the barbecues and sun-umbrellas, is a hhhhhhuge fence now with Obi signs...U can´tt look through...but I saw that they are building up their Christmas Market

Tomorrow, Guys! The 3/4 mark to Christmas Day 2010!
It has come so soon.
(Not many more Milestones left, you know. Savor them.)

The countdown will really start for me in a week from now, but today is a milestone indeed!!
3 Months to Xmas Eve!!
13 Weeks to be exact!!
Next friday is Oct and the 12 week countdown starts though I'm not allowed to bring up the Xmas word around my family until we get to the 8 week stretch.
Then I can start laying out the calendar agenda for the family for the Xmas Season.
I even listened to a 30 sec snipit of an Xmas song this morning on Accuholidays to celebrate the milestone.
And it's friday to boot!!
Two more weeks to Turkey day in Canada and another long weekend.
Happy Friday to all !!

I hope to have a quiet weekend coming up, because next week will be a busy one for my small business. Seems everyone in the area is planning their fundraisers and festivals at the same time, and they all want advertisement. Good for business, but when I get really busy like this, many times the kids are already in bed before I can get home. Well, a dude's gotta do what a dude's gotta do. It's really not as bad as all that, I'm just feeling a little complain-y this morning. One more cuppa joe and I'll be over it.

It's great when certain foods even get me excited that the season is changing! I am loving seeing the pumpkins in the stores.
Aww.. How cute with the chipmunk and squirrel. I love wildlife! I always smile watching birds and squirrels which is about all we get in the city. We got a family of possums one time. They were so cute to watch. I know some gross out on them but the babies are adorable! I thought mama was cute too. =)
I am so terrified of motorcycles. I had a boyfriend in high school that had one and I just never got use to riding on it. I think it might have been him. He would speed and take too many chances! Lol!

Only 3 months 'til Christmas Eve !! I am so excited. Today I have to mention even though I am very excited about Christmas, I am a bit solemn this morning as this is the day I lost my mom 12 years ago. I miss her a lot. She was THE BEST mom and friend in the world !!! But now that I have reflected on that.....on with Christmas !!! And that is exactly how she would want it !!!
Hope everyone has a TERRIFIC Weekend !!! QVC Will have Christmas stuff on tomorrow right ??

Does anyone here like the Blues Brothers? I took my grandkids to see Briefcase Blues (Blues Brothers tribute band) last night. They were really good! My grandkids got to get on stage with them and dance. They had a blast!
They were playing at the Dallas Arboretum. The Arboretum has one of the largest pumpkin patches in the USA. We got to walk all through that before we got to the stage. It is beautiful! They had several houses built all out of pumpkins. They are large enough to walk through. They do this every year and we saw it last year as well.

Today is friday and that means one step closer to the weekeend so yippy. The wife let me know we have a busy weekend so I will most likely miss all of QVC Christmas sales but thats ok, its only a few hours. Just hope i dont miss any football sunday.

I can't believe how close Christmas is! My birthday is September 25th (Tomorrow!!!), but, by the time it get here, all I can do is tell people that Christmas is exactly 13 weeks away. 13 weeks tomorrow. I CAN'T WAIT!! And it's on a Saturday too this year. There's something nice about it being on the weekend cheesy

hi christmas fellas. home now for today....my godchild sarah will have a dance pageant or however u call it when the children show of what they learned in dance lessons....anyway....sarah has it tomorrow....I just hope I will feel better tomorrow than I do today...I got really hit by a cold and it´s got my bones heavy...lol...i feel like I can never ever move again in my life....of course I do...but I feel really tired...but I am sure that after night of good sleep...and I hope that I will have that....I will have a good day tomorrow...at lesat better than today
