What a long night at work tonight just glad it is over, be doing the same thing again in 12 1/2 hours, but I have Saturday & Sunday off this week. Earlier today I swear I could smell Christmas in the air, it was a mix of pine and cookies it stopped me in my tracks and I looked around but I don't know where it came from.
Only 33 more days until Christmas music is on Music Choice. Woohoo!

Happy 1st of October MMC!!! Ive had the children picking out what outfits they want for halloween! They cant make their minds up tho! I remember when we were young, we just made our own ha!!

Well my laptop has been playing up so only just managed to get back on the internet, I just want to say a massive thankyou to whoever gave me the platinum membership gift!!! I havent been a member very long so im very grateful to whoever gave me it!!

Well, we got a LOT of rain... our (unfinished) basement is veryyyy wet, but thankfully there are no small streams running through it this AM, lol! (It's our first big rainstorm in this house). Everything is up high so nothing was damaged. I'll have to go down later and sweep the water into the drain and bleach it. That dehumidifier is really working hard these past few days!

Anyone else get slammed with rain??? Hope everyone is safe and dry!

I am hearing stories on the news about flooding in North Carolina, pictures of people, getting around in boats. Hope everyone stays safe.
We had rain here earlier this week, but noting like you all are getting.

Well...listening to MCR again. I cannot get enough of it as it is sooooooo soothing and pretty and peaceful and everything good and pure!

I cannot believe that tomorrow is October 1st! WOW! You know what that means? Well...for me it means that the Christmas Tree and decorations go up in 30 DAYS!!! How that makes my heart happy!

Emma comes tomorrow for the weekend! Oh boy...I hope I have enough energy! Ya...somehow I can always muster up the energy - and then I collapse after I take her home on Sunday.

Anyway...as always it was a pleasure to be here on MMC and "see" my Christmas friends once again. You are all such a blessing!

Hey Jude (don't make it bad, lol), Christmasstar has these really big fans you could use in your basement to help speed up the drying. :wink:

She blew them in my direction for cooler air. I bet it would work for drying. =)
