Happy October everyone,

What a long night at work tonight just glad it is over, be doing the same thing again in 12 1/2 hours, but I have Saturday & Sunday off this week. Earlier today I swear I could smell Christmas in the air, it was a mix of pine and cookies it stopped me in my tracks and I looked around but I don't know where it came from.
Only 33 more days until Christmas music is on Music Choice. Woohoo!

I was just telling my co worker this morning that in one month from tomorrow the Christmas music would be on and I would have that TV station on in every room I go into LOL

Goooooooood Morning MMC people!

I had a VERY BUSY day yesterday. The kids came over yesterday and the weather was so nice that we went outside and I let my grandson ride his bike. It has been so hot that he has not got to ride it for awhile. He got on it and said, "how did my bike get smaller"? Lolll! It's been so long that he has been on it that he has grown!

When my older grandson got out of school we headed to the park for a couple of hours. When my daughter got off work and went home her electricity was out. I already had the kids over for 10 1/2 hours then they stayed with me another hour so she could pack up a few things to stay the night. I rushed around getting beds ready but when her husband got off work they decided to stay at a hotel. My daughter and grandkids will come over for a little while today until it comes back on.

Even though I have had the kids all week I am glad they are coming over. I never get the chance to visit with my daughter. It will be good to have her here for the day! cheesy

Happy Friday and Happy October 1st cheesy

Ahhh each day is just getting better and better and now we have reached October 1st! My Birthday is on the 13th of this month. I am off of work from the 13th - the 25th (my parents are going to Arizona so I will be taking off since my Mom normally watches my Boys when Im working). Then of course Halloween! This month is going to fly by. The part I hate is when it goes by too fast so Im gonna try to enjoy each day of October, November and December this year.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow night and we may be going to the Orioles baseball game on Sunday..although its suppose to rain and the Ravens play the Steelers at the same time. We got so much rain and I work for an insurance company. Sooo many basements have flooded including my parents.

Good Friday, October morning, my Chirstmas friends!

I'm learning to be industrious at 6AM, LOL! I've been opening my FIL's store, cooking breakfast sausage, egg & bacon biscuits. This morning, I had to put two 5# hams and a pork loin on the rotisserie berfore I could start breakfast. Rock and Roll!

I usually have lunch with my mom on Fridays, but a coworker is leaving for another job and today is his last day. He's well-liked, so the company is having a lunch for him. The local sandwich shoppe make a very good club salad, so I'm looking forward to that.

Well, we got a LOT of rain... our (unfinished) basement is veryyyy wet, but thankfully there are no small streams running through it this AM, lol! (It's our first big rainstorm in this house). Everything is up high so nothing was damaged. I'll have to go down later and sweep the water into the drain and bleach it. That dehumidifier is really working hard these past few days!

Anyone else get slammed with rain??? Hope everyone is safe and dry!

We are having a deluge this morning, it started raining the hardest while JP was waiting for his bus, I walked him from the house to the bus under an umbrella and I had to change because I was soaked from the walk, I am worried about the basement also if it keeps going this hard we will have a flooding issue, nothing yet.

Hey while I was up studying last night, I perused some channels & saw a Christmas commercial. It was a K-Mart commercial & the couple was talking about how expensive their Christmas was going to be, but she replied that she put it on lay-a-way!!! Keep your eyes peeled for it. Has anyone else seen it?

I think when I go shopping I'm going to buy some air-wick cinnamon apple fragrances...I want my apartment to smell "Christmasy" when I walk in :hello:

I am in the only one on this side of the building today, so I am able to put on some low Christmas music to enjoy. Come this time of year, I don't mind listening to it. In March, I would only dream it was this time of year.

It's a new day! Wait. A new month! That's right, September has flown by and we are already in October. Next month, the Christmas Season will officially begin and the entire world will be filled with the Christmas Spirit... something that we feel all year long!

How long will we have to wait for this experience? Let's check the count! It has all the answers!

We are now less than a week away from the Homestretch! That's right, 6 more days until we are 90% toward the Christmas Season!

The weather? Beautiful and sunny in North Bay. Temperatures were about 7C this morning. A chilly 45F! The forecast is calling for a mix of rain and snow tomorrow. That's right, rain and SNOW! Thankfully, I will be in Ottawa for the weekend celebrating my friend's 30th birthday. I am excited to return this weekend and then the next for Thanksgiving and three weeks of practicum. Did September fly by for you, too?

Celebrate October. Celebrate Friday! There's lots of great things happening this month! Canadian Thanksgiving, Columbus Day, Halloween! The holidays are coming up and will culminate with our favourite before we even know it!

Mmmm! Turkey! I am quite excited for delicious foods. It will be a welcomed change up from the meals I have had over the past month or so. Of course, the long weekend also adds to the excitement.

We were absolutely slammed last week. We received about 70mm of rain. Back in my hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, they received about 98mm of rain! It was quite the storm. Hopefully there is not as much there! Good luck with the draining!

Good Afternoon everyone.... another busy week and busier weekend on hand. Lastnight our smelled sooo good, my daughter wanted a pumpkin pie for her birthday today so I made the pie last night. Made me crave the holiday season even more.
Tonight we are off to take the kids to dinner and a stroll around the mall. Planning on decorating tomorrow and then our daughters b-day party is Sunday.

I can relate !! Our house's basement ALWAYS floods. In fact water actually comes UP THROUGH THE FLOOR !! Oh well. Hope your house is okay and have a wonderful weekend !!

I know, right !!?? I saw that SAME commercial !!! The world is slowly waking up to Christmas !!! Yaa-Hoo !
