This is a brand new Hallmark Christmas planner from 2005 to 2009. The only date is on the title page so I can easily use it for next year. (already have one for this year)
And a really nice big mug for my candy cane hot chocolate.

My youngest son and I made a trip to Lowe's yesterday to get some bark nuggets...while we were there, they had their Christmas stuff out! They had some pretty nice things. My 2 boys and I have been very ill today, so not happy about that; hoping that tomorrow is a better day.

Allow me to rant for a moment ... just a wee moment ...

So, I was at a checkout yesterday and noticed they still had Mini Easter Cream Eggs for Sale. Easter was many moons ago.

So, how come they still have Easter goodies out when it's so close to Christmas and they don't sell EGGNOG yet? :-? !!!! It's not fair.

Okay, I'm done. I told you it was a wee rant.

...Last night our little guy was fussing abouting having to go to bed. He was tired but didn't want to go to bed. Well we had a small string or orange lights left over after we decorated the outside so we strung them around their bedroom closet door. Once the lights were up and on he stopped fussing about going to bed. He feel asleep watching the orange lights. Looks like as soon as those lights come down we will string Christmas lights in it's place and maybe around their bedroom window too....

You are SO lucky. I thought we were going to continue the fall weather. But, NO, the temperatures are high AGAIN! At least, though, they are cool in the morning and SOME of the evenings. Hurry, fall, winter, and Christmas weather!!!

It's getting chilly these days.....for the last two days, we've had to scrape the frost of the car windows!! Mornings have been around +2/+3 Cel (around 35-36 F.)....

My 20 year old son enjoys doing silly random things to us.

The other day going through my Halloween stuff there was a black light bulb in there. He was asking about it and I told him I don't plan to do anything with it right now and asked if he could put it back in the box.

Last night I went into the bathroom and when I turned on the lights in the middle of the white light bulbs there was a purple glow. I couldn't figure out what the heck it was. I looked up and he had removed one white light bulb and put it there.

I took it a step further and removed all the white lights and left it with the glow of the black light for his benefit when he was trying to get ready for school the next day. When he got up this morning he was taking a shower with just the black light on. I woke up after him and he said, "Ummm, I couldn't see very well in the bathroom this morning". I said, "gee, I wonder why"? He was laughing.

Last year he put a scary witch in our freezer. She is motion sensor activated and does a haunting laugh at any movement. How fun to go for some ice cream and have a witch scaring you in the process. cheesy

We had a frost this morning also, had our first over this past weekend when it got in the 20's, They are saying there is a possibility of snow on Friday in the higher elevations which is where I live. WOOOHOOO!
