Sometimes, though, those F16s have NOTHING on a good old Southern thunderstorm When they shook our house and rattled our windows, I was terrified!!! I used to LOVE flying until I married an air traffic controller and was in the tower many times when emergency landings had to be made. Scared me to death. Now I take medication anytime I have to fly. Flying into San Francisco scares me. It's like you are going to land in the ocean!!

They usally fly F16 here they do test flights from the air force base next to my house to chattanooga. It does get annoying and starttles you a little since it will shake the whole house and windows each time.

I use to be very scared to fly untill i was in the navy and had to fly all the time. The worse place I had to fly into was Adak, Ak and it is due to the fact that you cant see the runway when you land since it is alwyas clowdy and you have to fly betweeen two mountain and hope you slow down enouth to land and not go in to the water or cash in to the mountain.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've been gone on vacation since Thursday afternoon. We went to the Smoky Mountains and attended the Foothills Fall Festival in Maryville, TN. It was a BLAST! Lots of great southern rock with Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special, along with many other groups. Boy, we did a lot of riding, though. We stayed in Maggie Valley, NC and commuted to Maryville, about 2 hours away on Friday and Saturday. Sunday we went to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, about 1.5 hours away. Then a 6 hour trip home yesterday. But I loved every minute of it!

I have a lot of catch-up reading to do here. It's great to be back!

What is really beautiful is the Stealth, either Bomber or Stealth 117 Nighthawk. Poetry in motion; so silent and, well, stealthy!!!

Cherylle in CA who used to watch the Stealth Bomber fly overhead on practice flights BEFORE it was "known." We called it "Batman."

That is what the Thunderbirds are but I am sure you knew that already. cheesy I know I will not be seeing one fly over but would love to see an SR71 Blackbird!

I hate that I am scared of flying. It's dumb fear since it's the safest travel. I just don't like the idea of being in mid air so high up! I will if I have to but just hate every second of it!

I did get to see a Stealth fly over at an air show in the 90's. It was very cool! I would love to be able to see that again. =)

I am sitting here watching the miners being rescued in Chile. It was amazing to see the first one make it up okay. I will be praying that the rest make it up as smooth as the first one. I need to head to bed. I should have worked today but didn't really feel like it soi didn't. Now I have to go work tomorrow morning. So that means a 5am wake up for me. Its freezing here in Wales. Makes a welcome change from the mini heatwave we had last weekend.

Morning all! Its Wednesday. William slept a bit better. I'm still tired though! Found out the Santa Claus parade that went behind our house for the 1st year last year is on again this year! Bigger and better! So If any of you live in the London Ontario area November 27th at 11am is when it starts. If you want to me my Family and I we will be on the corner of gainsborough and aldersbrook. I know its a little ways off Mark it down! hah. I'm back at work again though. Sheesh. Seems like I'm always here! My Halloween party is coming up in a few weekends too! Moving fast these days eh? Well time to go start some work heh.

Goooooood morning! Today is going to be alot cooler here today. We got up in the mid 80's yesterday after two days in the mid 90's, but today we are projected to be around 70, so it's going to be much, much cooler.

Almost two weeks to Halloween. I will be glad when it's over, because I'm eating way too much candy!

It's getting chilly these days.....for the last two days, we've had to scrape the frost of the car windows!! Mornings have been around +2/+3 Cel (around 35-36 F.)....
The only good thing about that is it means we are definitely getting closer to the season!!

And it's mid week already!!

With the holiday Monday, the week's been flying by.

It may be time to put the patio furniture away soon.
