The interactive family conference was a great success!

I thought I could breathe this week, but alas other tasks need to be completed including making my Halloween costume.

Yes, the start of another week and a busy one at that with a couple evenings booked already this week.

Getting closer and closer to that 2 months away window where everything related to Xmas will start kicking into high gear!!

Good morning everyone! We had a busy weekend here. Got some things done around the house that needed fixed or cleaned that we had been putting off, ordered new family room furniture and living room tables and went on a date Saturday night. Today will be semi busy again with the kids. My daughter should be getting her fundraiser items in today so I need to go to the school and pick those up.... all $650.00 worth! Then get it all sorted into bags and help her start delivering. Ughhhh!!! Hope everyone has a good day!

HEY EVERYBODY!!! You know...I was sitting down to watch an episode of Ally McBeal from the second season (a gift my Mom gave me for Thanksgiving...just for being "a good daughter". I just love my Mom!!!). Anyway...the scene opened up showing the street with snow lightly falling to the ground...decorations in the store windows...Christmas lights hanging throughout the street - and I thought, "Man...its almost Christmas!!! I gotta get back to MMC!!!"

Soon...that scene I just describe will be just outside our front door!

Everything is going well - and things have been much better. A lot of work involved (which is why I'm not here much) - but oh so worth it!

I've been quite sick for over a week now. I've got bronchitis that just is not getting any better. I'm afraid to suspect that I may have some form of pneumonia. I've been to the doctor's twice already - but may have to go back tomorrow. I'll wait to see how I feel.

Oh...13 more days until the next long weekend for me! YA! Its the weekend our Christmas Tree and decorations go up!!! Can you believe it? I JUST CANNOT WAIT!!!

Anyway...I've missed you guys - and I will make a better effort to be here more. This place just makes me happy. Yes...VERY happy!!!

Days to Christmas Day: 68
One week from today we will be exactly 2 months away from Christmas Day.
The year has really flown by.

Cool again here this morning but not as chilly as yesterday.
We stand at 51 currently, bound for 79 by this afternoon and 81 tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, that is the day I am taking my father to the State Fair. He's 85 now and really doesn't like cold weather. Tuesday is the warmest predicted day of the week.

Yesterday was a rough day, each time I sat down to relax I fell asleep, Saturday absolutely kicked my butt. I never did to much raking yesterday, so if Wednesday is the selected day if the weather cooperates. (The procrastinator says) I have a short 4 hour shift at work today, so that should go pretty quickly.

Another weekend has come and gone but we are closer to Christmas. I hope everyone is having a Merry Monday Morning. I have been out window shopping over the weekend and can I just say, I can't wait for the arrival of Christmas Spirit from my fellow shoppers. Around here at MMC we have Spirit all year long that I forget that it doesn't quite filter out into the outside world. I guess I expect too much too soon. But anyway, I wish everyone a Merry Monday. And if you can, try to do something Christmassy today.

My youngest niece doesn't like to be up when her older sister is still sleeping. So as soon as my sister gets her out of bed she runs over to her sisters bedroom and shouts at her to get up.

Hahahaha! Thanks Brad! Really...I wasn't letting it all out in that video. When people ask me to sing (who have never heard me sing before) - and after I open my mouth and let it "go"...to see the look on their faces is priceless! They always say "WOW! Can you ever sing...I never knew that before"!

I'm telling you...I won't make a living at it - but its fun and hearing the compliments sure makes me feel good!

So...I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Today I get to go to my oldest friend, who lives only an hour away, but we're both so busy we only see each other once a month! Had an amazing weekend, went to see my grandparents, my grandfather and my boyfriends grandmother! I'm so grateful for them!

Well...still sick - but have taken today off from work. I pushed things a little too hard last week and didn't get any better. So - a different plan of attack it to REST! Hmmmmm...sounds like a good plan to me!

The plan for later on today is to play MCR on my computer while surfing and posting MMC! Love that plan too!
