Good Afternoon.... well the family and I went to walmart yesterday and what did we see CHRISTMAS Stuff!!!! They were working on 2 isles and the lawn and garden sections was filled with Boxes marked for Christmas! Needless to saying I was doing the happy dance in walmart yesterday :dance: We did buy our first Christmas decorations of the year yesterday. Got Little Christmas trees table scapes and Snowmen table scapes. I think i willhave to go buy another set of each for my desk at work...
In less then 2 weeks we will be hitting Toys R Us to do some more Christmas shopping for the kids... can't wait!

Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!
My son and I spent the whole day hunting Saturday, but the wildlife had nothing to fear. We didn't get a thing! :-? Oh, well. Maybe next weekend.
We had snow crab legs for supper last night, and that made up for a bad weekend of hunting. It was great! Of course, a bad weekend of hunting is better than a good weekend of yard work! :thumbsup:

I think its sad. I know everyone is not crazy about Christmas like I am, but I think its terrible that people are so miserable. Truth be told, they have many reasons to be angry right now. It seems like the spirit will not be plentiful this year. I am still hopeful that some people may find it and have a joyful holiday season.
Wow....my Walmart doesn't have Christmas yet. :-?
Our walmart just starting putting Christmas Stuff out a few days ago, it was not there last week. If you need a Christmas fix head to the walmart in my area or stop in at Costellos in Deepwater, not the garden center but the store behind it. She's got alot of fall and halloween stuff up but she also has several christmas trees up and fully decorated. I could go broke in that place if I was not careful.
My local Hobby Lobby has had Christmas stuff up supposedly for over two months now. I just went in the other day, expecting to find Halloween stuff, but was amazed at how much Christmas stuff was out on display already. It really warmed my heart.
I know most stores and malls don't switch over till either a few days before or after Halloween, (my local Wal-mart hasn't put any Christmas stuff out yet), but if you want an early Holiday shopping fix, go to Hobby Lobby. cheesy

most of the stores here almost finished their christmas corners in their stores...so happy about it
temperatures are lowering and it looks really grey.......beautiful...lol
The Hobby Lobby here starts putting Christmas stuff out at the end of June. It really starts filling up by August so that sounds about right. =)

All this talk of football bums me out because the Cowboys are not doing so well. :-?
No matter how bad they play, business is dead around here during the game. We hardly had any customers at work yesterday while the Cowboys game was on.

Hope your date was a fun one! Congrats on being able to get new furniture. Something like that always lifts my spirits. As a teacher, I know all about those fundraisers. The teachers at my school have to stay until all the items are picked up! And it all happens AFTER school, so I go home pretty tired.

...ordered new family room furniture and living room tables and went on a date Saturday night. Today will be semi busy again with the kids. My daughter should be getting her fundraiser items in today so I need to go to the school and pick those up.... all $650.00 worth! Then get it all sorted into bags and help her start delivering. Ughhhh!!! Hope everyone has a good day!
